The Pot calling the Kettle Black

We hear that for the first time some of Pakistan's most steadfast friends are on the same page as its detractors with regard to what the country must do to save itself from descending into chaos and endangering world security.

The Chinese are said to have fallen in line with the US view that Pakistan must fight religious extremism as a threat to itself first and foremost.

And that the Saudis are on the same page. apparantly, what has irked the kingdom most of all is that every terrorist they apprehend on their soil traces back to Pakistan's tribal areas where Al-Qaeda's Leadership is safely esconded. The saudis are mightly irked by this and have made their view well known - sort them out at the root, they've said, and make your country and the world a safer place.:enjoy:

Perhaps this will allow the army to move -- this business of building concensus before acting is just that, it is business, it is rubbish.

Pakistan army must stop reacting tot events and create facts on the ground to which the talib and their political enablers must react to.

Should unknown "miscreants" target politicians and religious leaders who support obscuritanism, the police will have to investigate.

Uh! Oh! is this true? Surely the all-weather friend will not join the hated "do-more!" chorus?! I don't believe it, please show the link that says this. Pakistan is going to be friendless if this keeps up.

Biwi number 3
a taliban commander took the peshawar to quetta flight recently and there saw a most comely air stewardess. he said to her" ap ka shakal bilkul hamaray aik biwi jaisa hai, in fact biwi number 3 jaisa hai". upon hearing this, the air stewardess slapped him right across the face."Aadat bhi bilkul biwi number 3 jaisa hai" he said and slunk back in his chair.

hahahaha good one fatman....

To me, this sums up pretty much everything that's going on. The world is now yelling at Pakistan to do something which is in everyone's favor, including Pakistan. And at least lately, Pakistan has shown certain willingness to do so, may it be under US pressure or to get more aid, whatever.

Some members here vehemently support the idea of a Muslim union in today's world, to 'thwart the aggression of USA'. Not going to work unless Pakistan abandons all the relations with the extremist groups. Most of them surely don't want to get associated with Jihadists & Terrorists.

The question is, now Pakistanies all wheather friends are talking behind there back, is it going make any difference on the GoP and the Army? I would say no. Pakistan has already made there decision, and that is keep the talibans at bay at SWAT and FATA, and long as they do not enter the heart land why worry. And keep the status quo with India, simple as this sound, this is the strategy of Pakistan.

What irks me, by not acting on the talibans, gives a potential soft attack in the future, which Pakistan does not care.

I am not implying that relations between Pakistan & Saudi Arabia have considerably deteriorated. I am only implying that even Pakistan's allies now have starting to urge Pakistani administration to take firm action against extremism, which is in line with USA's 'Do More' rhetoric. So clearly, China & Saudi, as the poster asserts, have started raising a few concerns which Pakistan can not ignore.

And 'Saudi Intel Agency Chef'? May be you meant 'Chief'..
