China Supports Sri Lanka & India against Sri Lanka

Lol I remember that idiot Chinese dragon saying " don't worry china ad russia will veto resolution again SL"
Guess you don't know the iff between unsc and unhrc:lol:
Poor chini

living too much inside internet takes toll on intelligence.. ignore him..

solve your own infant killing and starvation first then talk big
China has a lot of poverty too with the second largest economy and per capita income of $4500 it's a shame...wolds poorest second largest economy to exist,ever!.. Ever wondered?!

lankans are our long trusted friends. No surprise at all...
there is n friend or for in international diplomacy nowadays...every nation is just bothered about its self interest!!!and its natural!!indian govt ally DMK pressurised indian govt to vote in favour of the resolution!!if the govt hadnt voted in favour of it then i might fear mr manmohan singh would have to resign and byelection was on the cards!!we have sympathy for all srilankans who lost life in the civil war!!and we indian people doesnt have any animosity towards srilanka..infact we all love ur country and our epics have a lot of connection to the country!!

I am sorry.GoI makes foreign policy taking into view the greater good of the nation not just the state of Tamil Nadu.

I am saying same thing this decision purely based on betterment of other states except Tamilnadu , fine . Great India can able to function without Tamilnadu (it just a small state) so better give freedom 2 us from Union India. Then India don't have compulsion to change its foreign policy for a sake of small state like TN. I think that move will benefits both of us.

Our future nation would be purely based on our strategic interest and there is no need to beg others for our issues.

and to us its a country thats undergoing decades of civil war and mass murder and as a result we have also lost our prime minister and had terrorist attacks in india. i dont think china and pak can understand our position.

russia voted against. if we voted against too u would have said we are a stooge of russia for weapons.
China voted with Russia..china needs at least one country to copy weapons from and then call them indigenous!

time already told india is a backward (compare to china) and a coward (this thread is an example)

It's astonishing to see your ego..that's why you got so many enemies..china is only budding but the ego is at its peak..leave those handful cities of Beijing shanghai Guangzhou..look at the rest of china..its still in 3rd world condition..and it can be known from the fact that you had to drive out 2 million pools from streets in Beijing before the Olympics to give it a fake good look!

LOL at 81indian 6 division of troops invaded india in 1962 , killed many indians and nearly advance to delhi not an all out war? seem like we have to colonise india for you to consider is it an all out war
Oo proud of back stabbing? Let us not remind of your nightmare face to face with Japan...you chinis would be ashamed!

This indian vote made things easier for Srilanka. Now SriLanka can award Mannar and Cauvery basin exploration to Chinese companies. This will bring China more closer in south asian exploration.

In the long run south asian countries has to form another regional forum and leaving indian out of it.
Pakistanis, bangladeshis, srilanka, members from these 3 countries are happy to become chinas stooge and let it expand it's wings in south Asia..don't worry india will not hurt your *****!

Sri Lanka has already done that.

Just so you know what happened

India voted for the dead, naked women depicted in this video

China voted for the killers who raped and maimed them

So do our Chinese friends agree with their Government's stance?

Prabhakaran's son killing video came out [Reporter video] - YouTube
That's sad. But Sri Lankan government didn't kill them because they were Tamil. They were die hard LTTE who wanted to carve away Sri Lankan land. Should have surrendered and lived.

Anyway, RIP, hope the Tamil community re-integrates peacefully with the Sinhalese to let wounds heal, and hope the Sinhalese welcome the Tamils with open arms and generosity.

See the video again - an 11 year old is not a die-hard LTTE cadre. They did surrender, by the way. Reports indicate that they were executed in cold blood after surrendering.

This is what a Srilankan reporter has to say about India w.r.t Srilanka vote in UNHRC:

“If one has to identify a single critical or crucial variable for Sri Lanka, it is India, but our strategy cannot be reduced to Indian support...A few weeks after we fought and won our battle in Geneva in May 2009, Myanmar lost in the same forum though it had the votes of India, Russia and China. So the secret of our victory in 2009 was not simply and solely India...We will find it almost impossible to win without India’s support, and we cannot win if India ever turns against us, but we cannot win only with India’s support. We must always remember that many Asian, Middle Eastern, African and Latin American states will take their cue from India. India has a wide presence and is widely respected among Sri Lanka’s friends. We must rally our neighbourhood in our support. We must have the solid support of our continent, Asia. We must balance the South against hostile sections of the North, and the East against hostile sections of the West. India is pivotal in all these defensive moves and it is difficult to implement any of them if India is against or conspicuously on the sidelines. If, as some critical commentaries assert, India’s position has changed, or is changing, or might possibly change, from that of our May 2009 UN HRC victory, we must seek out the reasons and rectify them jointly.

We must certainly strive to countervail the mounting anti-Lankan opinion in Indian civil society and the media, militant opinion in Tamil Nadu and the lobbying of certain Western elements. We must secure Delhi’s support and swing Indian public and political opinion firmly over to Sri Lanka’s side. This cannot be done by purely verbal means but by policy reforms. As a UN based top official of Sri Lanka’s firmest, most powerful international friend told me once, ‘short of capitulating on or compromising its vital security interests, Sri Lanka must do what it takes to help its friends to help it.
