Wake up, America! You’re falling behind

Exactly, no sane investor would place all its eggs into one single basket.

Though it's kind of hard to hedge, when the US is so fricken big. The Euro-zone and Japan offers limited refuge but neither US or China can do without the other. A complete stoppage of trade would entail, mass unemployment in China, and disastrous deterioration of living standards in America. Not to mention complete financial Armageddon for the entire world.

That would be the worse case scenario. In the real world it is unlikely to happen unless America does something stupid.

Like what Anonymous user said, they are not the only one customer and it will remain that way. China is constantly branching out across Africa and Latin America. Reaching out to countries with untapped potential and securing the future needs of China. They want to get there and secure their share of the cake before the market becomes too over-saturated.

Hmm, the situation is interesting! A frog is now in a "China" pot filled with water. To boil the frog, you need to be very careful about the water temperature. If it is too high, the frog will just jump out. Set the temparture to a point to make the frog feel safe and free, better let the frog focus on something else, and raise the temparature slowly with great patience.

Who is this arrogant and stupid frog?

US tech is surviving on momentum and brain drain, not any significant internal innovation.

Almost every innovation in the last several decades has come from USA.

Others are taking pride in just catching up with or adapting those innovations.

Most of the credit for the achievements of immigrants goes to USA as well, the same people typically achieve much less in their own countries. They become achievers due to the exposure provided in the USA.

That has been the case so far, it may change in the future.

Lol, No country in this word can over take USA, at least not in this century...

they will remain the sole Superpower for generations to come.

indians are becoming spiritual slaves of the US.

just you guys don't realize.

that's sad as we together had the glorious and rich history, and we used to enlight people.

Acknowledging reality is not slavery.

Hoping that a country like China will save you from yourself and becoming it's client state is!

1971 happened despite China and China twiddled its thumbs. You went broke and almost defaulted, again the same story.

In fact the story has repeated so many times and you guys still can't acknowledge facts.

An average Chinese doesn't know anything about Pakistan and in fact the majority has a negative opinion of Pakistan and Muslims.

Thanks for telling us what we think.

Why, you are always welcome mate!

For others who may not know the context.

Negative views of Muslims were also strong in several Asian countries: Half or more of the Japanese, Indians, Chinese and South Koreans surveyed said they had negative impressions of Muslims.

Both the Chinese and Japanese express generally unfavorable views of Pakistan, while the Chinese tend to feel negatively toward India as well.

What China needs is a 500 or 1,000 RMB note for foreign consumption. The equivalent of the $100 US Dollar.
When you see African mercenaries or Columbian drug dealers carry bricks of 1,000 RMB notes with Mao's head on it, then you know China has arrived.

That's the real power of the dollar isn't it?
