Higher the investments higher the returns ,top countries are usually the one with the highest sports budget.

With increasing Indian sports budget ,medal tally shall also increase in future.

Yeah thats what China said 30years ago and did it by dominating olympics/asian games etc, Indians said the same thing 30years ago but still waiting for it. Thinking its going to be a waiting game no one is going to be alive to witness but none the less improvement is improvement but modesty goes even further.

Can't believe that so many pure athletic medals are being won by India. Made more than up for the disappointing failures in the conventional strongholds like boxing, weightlifting etc. Wrestling kya karega abhi dekhna hain inspite of all the recent controversies.

Just saw the badminton match that was won by Pranoy. What a contest. Nail biting finish.

In athletics, India had more than one contestant in most the the final events. This shows that the ecosystem of sports is shaping up well in India.

Way to go.

India has done well in few games, across the board.
Archery, athletics, Squash, Boxing and Badminton. This shows that these have a good supply chain, which bodes well for us in the future.

I'm disappointed with PV Sindhu's early exit, I was expecting at least a silver from her.
