USA had to bear a lot of baggages due to it's allies. Not all of them are rosy and perfect.
But the common understanding of USA society and political elites are to promote democracy. Not that everytime it was applied. The alternative to USA are far worse.


This BS story was invented by leftist in Bangladesh in 80's. Most of the country has to pay for US base in their soil for example Japan Korea Germany etc. How much BD will contribute to US base in St. Martin?

I guess both unipolar and multipolar have their pros and cons. In unipolar world a defenseless country like Iraq can be illegally occupied and destroyed without anybody coming to help them. In a unipolar world with total control of economy, any country that wouldn't kowtow their lines would be subjected to sanctions to 'soften' the target before destroying them altogether, ask Iran and Iraq.

Also I think veto power should be abolished, one country one vote should be the way to go. Chinese are able to give shelter to MM because of this veto power.

This is from a US think tank article of 2012.
The other examples are not correct as those countries need US protection.
BD would be doing US a favour by allowing 7th fleet to be based on it's territory.
