Your opinion for India's 126 MRCA's

You are talking about TU-160, similar to the US B-1B Lancer, hell of a bomber that is. But why would india need em any way.
Good question, maybe any of our Indian guests would like to elaborate.
According to my knowledge 3-4 bombers would be on lease for study purpose only, but would certainly be a threat for China as the Blackjack would give IAF the ability to strike deep into China and beyond.
This could be seen as the Indian desire to become a super power.

Lol against china? thats a bit optimistic since it assumes there wont be any chinese aircraft to greet the bombers when they cross into China.

Dedicated bombers are useful against nations which have a weaker airforce or at the very least a comparable one. Using dedicated bombers against nations with superior airforce will either result in a very expensive bill (for all the bombers destroyed) or they wont be used at all in the conflict.

After all Egypt had Tupolev bombers but never actually could use them effectively against Israel. This doesnt mean they are useless, after all if Egypt had conflict with other nation in the region, the bombers would have been devestating to say the least.

But this doesnt ends the story here, You havnt told us why india is acquiring them, if they really are?

Bangladesh anyone? :)

In reality the Tupolev bombers does give the Indian military very strong credibility against Nations like Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal and Bhutan. It will play marginal role in conflict with Pakistan unless they are equiped with long range cruise missiles and large fighter escorts.

So you suggest that they are really going after those bombers? Could some 1 Plz evaluate the cost of that bomber, must be a very expensive beast:crazy2: .

That the reason they will be on lease for a short persio, i.e. 3-5 years.
I don't think IAF can afford the very high costs to maintain a fleets permanently yet.

Agreed!
But the Black Jack will give IAF the opportunity to strike China from other corridors then the ones on the common border.
Black Jack's range is good enough to cross Myanmar to strike southern China or launch cruise missiles to Guangzhou.

India wouldnt dare strike China with its black jack

If it ever does you will be seeing waves of H-1, H-2 and future chinese bombers flying over indian bases and Cities annihalting India

if they do.... i am sure indian will witness a nuclear tsunami, and i am afriad pakistani will never get to have a chance to ride their AK tanks through New Delhi..... (1000 nuclear warheads being fired from the bottom of indian ocean-094 SSBN) tats y is good to have second strike capability.......

I dont think China would be willing to wipe out the Hindu aryan race

I think its better that if india ever does China uses pakistani bases in kashmir to launch large amounts of H-1, H2 and future chinese bombers into India

I think you are an idiot, China doesnt have 1000 nuclear weapons, more like 300. It has only 20 ICBMS and a few hundred Medium range missiles. Plus it has only one submarine carrying ballistic missiles and i doubt it has more than 20 missiles in that submarine.

Secondly India has a superior conventional military force, it is very unlikely Pakistan's tanks will be rolling into New Delhi soon.

No comments, because these things are unlikely to happen......................
