Yemen minister calls for Gulf Arab military intervention

Yemen is facing the same North vs South conflict since we saw during the heights of the cold war. What is happening in Iraq, Syria,Libya, Afghanistan, the same case is there in Yeman.

Syrian regime is not so much powerful to invade Jordan like the 70's. Iraqi baathists are not in power , so Kuwait will be not invaded. Yemen houthis are already facing stiff resistanc, two thirds of the old Yemeni army, face three main enemies: units loyal to Hadi in Aden, Sunni tribes in Marib province and tribes fighting alongside AQAP in al-Bayda province.
Yet it seems the Houthis are winning, because Iran is helping them with vital supplies and heavy weapons. The Gulf Arabs cannot tolerate an Iranian controlled Yemen, so they're intervene in one form or another.

He did as the fourth Caliph. Now stop making silly one liners.

Shia believe Ali should have been the first caliph. Plus, they believe Mohammed's grandson Hussein was wrongfully killed at Karbala.

Does these Rebels possess some Heavy Weapons like Armor MANPADS etc,coZ if they do they would entrench themselves good enough to withstand any modest invasion ,Plus Iranians could provide them with AA and Anti Tank weapons like KORNET

Yes they have some tanks from Yemeni army. Typically anti tank and air defense missiles are good enough to fight off an invasion.

Iran has Iranian versions of TOW and produces Kornets as Dehlavie.

Im surprised they havent already to be honest. It didnt take the Saudis very long for example to intervene in Bahrain. You would think that given the threat the Houthis pose to the border region between Saudi and Yemen, that the Saudis would employ similar tactics there.

Saudi Foriegn Minister : '' If the Houthis Invasion is not to be terminated peacefully, we will take the needed measures to protect the region ''.

$67Billion budget. Still KSA can't counter these Houthis? KSA what are you spending your budget on? Humus and Shwarmas?
