you also have to maintain army and navy requirements too....

ok now do match... 1.87 X 10 (10 years plan)... note: it will not remain 1.87billion as economy is growing , defence budget will also grow 1.3% of GDP currently we are spending which we can raise to 2%

i am serious, a very amphibious plan has been taken currently we are operation only 8 migs

again suppose 700 million is spend on avg for 10 year each...on airforce...
so its come down to 7 billion...
in those you have to pay for your yak trainers....
+ salary of your personal + maintenance of all your previous aircrafts.....+training of pilots....
then what is left you will be able to buy the fighters....its a meager amount and even a batch of 60-70 modern aircraft will cost you around 4-5 billion..
