It is the best gun for urban warfare. Accurate. Very high rate of fire. Very controllable. Light weight.

Too damn old, and not as easy to find as a Kalashnikov. Also, there's this guy:

Are OP on drugs? Or did he finally lose it? (Although it looks like he lost it a long time ago)

Because we aren't in Korean War anymore???

There are way too many submachine gun for people to choose, PPsH-41 aren't the top choice.

Production ceased in 1947 after 6,000,000 units made. The PPSh saw extensive combat use during World War II and the Korean War. In the form of the Chinese Type 50 (a licensed copy), it was still being used by Vietnamese Viet Cong as late as 1970.

The PPS was created in response to a Red Army requirement for a compact and lightweight weapon with similar accuracy and projectile energy to the Soviet PPSh-41 submachine gun widely deployed at the time, with reduced rate of fire, produced at lower cost and requiring less manpower, particularly skilled manpower

Too heavy, too long, too high rate of fire, open bolt mechanism, hard to find ammo.

Ammo can be mass produced. It is the size of an M4. A modernized version using aluminum could weigh about 6 pounds.

No point to start production of ammo for outdated gun.

Best submashine gun today is P90:

Are you for real???? Must be joing on this.........
Ppsh fires a 7.62 x 25 mm round ..... Its a high velocity round with less stopping power, bullet is just going to penetrate the attacker's body without knocking him down ...... It is good to injure your opponent but not to take him down......also in case of an accidental fire, a 7.62 is going to pass through the individual's body and ricochet off something........it is a very dangerous round......

Technically, the FN P90 is a personal defense weapon (PDW), It fires the FN 5.7×28mm round

The 7.62×25mm Tokarev cartridge is a Russian bottle-necked pistol cartridge. The cartridge has since been replaced in most capacities by the 9×18mm Makarov in Russian service

The cartridge is in principle an enhanced Russian version of the 7.63×25mm Mauser. Prior to the First World War, the 7.63×25mm Mauser C96 pistol gained in popularity worldwide, including in Russia. A copy of the German cartridge was being produced at the Podolsky Ammunition Factory, the Soviets eventually purchased a license and manufacturing equipment from DWM in Germany to produce the cartridge. In 1929, the Soviet Artillery Committee proposed to develop a domestic pistol chambered for the Mauser cartridge. After considerable research and development, it was decided that the "Model 1930 7.62 mm Pistol Cartridge," essentially the Mauser round with minor modifications, was to become the standard caliber for Soviet pistols and submachine guns.

This cartridge has excellent penetration and can easily defeat lighter ballistic vests (NIJ level I and IIA) as well as some kevlar helmets, such as the American PASGT helmet. When fired from a carbine length barrel the cartridge may penetrate NIJ level II, but is readily stopped by the current standard armor NIJ level IIIA. Although most firearms chambered in this caliber were declared obsolete and removed from military inventories, some Police and Special Forces units in Russia, Pakistan and (mainly) in China may still use it because of the large quantity of stored ammunition available. In 2012, 7.62×25 ammunition was available for importation, from Romania, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Russia.

The most notable use of this cartridge was in the Tokarev TT-33 pistol, which was the Soviet Union's standard service pistol from the early 1930s until the mid-1960s. It was also used in the Czech ČZ vz. 52, which was the standard Czech service pistol from 1952 until 1982. The cartridge was also used in several submachine guns, including the Soviet PPD-40 (934–1942), PPSh-41 (1941–1947), and PPS-43 (1942–1946), the Russian PP-19 Bizon (1993-1995), the East German WG66 (mid to late 196s), the Czech Sa 24 and Sa 26 (late 1940s - early 1950s).

US SWAT has given up using MP-5 even inside buildings. They say 9x19 caliber subgun is inefective.
They prefer m4 short barel.
