The Ultra-Nationalists in South Korea have became rampant, many of them believe that China has stolen their ancestral land. So by this logic, the three provinces of Dongbei and even Shandong were historical land of the Koreans!!! :woot:

And they claim Gaogouli as the history of their ancestor!!!

Vietnam is less fanatic than South Korea, but there are also many Vietnamese Ultra-Nationalists on YouTube that claim South China was their ancestral land and South Chinese were in fact some assimilated Viets.

What makes those two China's historical vassal states become so reckless? :undecided:

Isnt this their empire to begin with?

Who do you think it was founded by then? Early Manchurians?

Gaogouli was probably founded by a group of people very closely related to the Jurchens and the early Manchus.

Now most of their blood has been absorbed by the Northern Han Chinese.

Jurchens are early Manchus.

A bit different, the concept of Manchus was started in late 16th century, and Jurchens were existed since 11th century.

The early Manchus were mix between Jurchens/Khitans/Mongols/Han Chinese/Koreans, but they had predominantly Jurchens blood.

I thought Jurchen people are tungusic peoples that regularly fought the Chinese, later Mongols, then became the Manchus that invaded China.

And why apparently the Koreans cant claim Goguryeo as their own?

Some resemblance means nothing, since Korea always got influenced by China in the ancient time. Even their history records were written in Chinese, and they called the Chinese characters "Hanja".

Because they don't have the military muscle to back it up, or any real historical claim.

I know Korean armor(and culture for that matter) looks influenced by its surroundings, but they looks unique enough dont you think?

The later Manchus of the Qing Dynasty were mixed, quite different from the early Jurchens that appeared in the 11th century.

And the ancestor of the Koreans were actually from the southern part of the Korean peninsula, and they were colonized by the people from Gaogouli.

Later Gaogouli was defeated by Tang Dynasty, then got assimilated into the Chinese gene pool.
