Wild guess would be 150 commissioned officers. But this is coming from a lay observer like me.

I'm guessing 180-250 officers, and the number of troops can be around 15000 in Infantry Div.

My estimate was right then for a 10k man division. Dpn't forget division size varies by country and time. In WW2 divisions could be as much as 18-20k men but today in British Army they are half if not smaller size.

And I worked out the numbers by using the rule of thumb. One officer for company of 100 men. Then give another 50 for staff posts up chain of command and at div/brigade level.
