What happened to the $20 laptop?

lol..first it was $10....then $20...then $30....then $35 and then someone said $100...they'll end up selling this device for the price of a tablet PC.

Not even in 10 Years would the device actually be manufactured for $30.00 or whatever..

The only thing indian govt can do for the sake of education is make a special fund and spend it on to buy these components for the discounted price from the local/international combined markets for the local manufacturers even though the price tag would be higher compared to international markets it would much cheaper say $120.00
Sell it for 30.00 to those who can't afford more than that, while there is always a % who'll buy it for $100-120.00 that funds can is dedicated to the class who can't afford beyond $30.00..
