What are your ICC World Cup 2015 predictions for the Asian teams?

This Cricket World Cup sees the highest number of Asian teams in it (6) and there are 4 ranked teams, UAE and Afghanistan are unranked.

The pitch conditions of Australia and New Zealand are going to suit batsmen and pacers more than spinners and the top Asian teams rely heavily on spin.

What are your predictions for each of the teams and who do you think will win the World Cup?

Mine are:
India: Quarter-finals
Sri Lanka- Semi-finals
Pakistan - Quarter-finals
Bangladesh - Quarter-finals; if lucky otherwise 5th in group.
UAE and Afghanistan will finish bottom of their groups without winning any games.
I expect either Australia to lift the trophy at home or England to win it.

There is a chance that New Zealand may also qualify for the Semi Final but it's going to be very difficult for England unless special performances are given by Moeen Ali, Morgan, Ravi Bopara and Jos Buttler

We have an upcoming odi triseries with Australia and England in Australia which will give us a clearer picture for predicting our teams performance in WC.

with India being in form in ODI we would reach semis easily... i don't know about Pakistan but its bowling is in trouble ( which is the best in pakistan team) since te best bowlers are banned

No is perhaps too strong a word
but yeah very little expectations
the bowling has no punch apart from Irfan
the reason we had a good run in the 2011 world cup was because we had three world class spinners on spin friendly tracks ...and perhaps the biggest worry is our lack of match practice on those tracks
By the time World Cup starts the Indian batsmen would be well drilled on how to play on those pacy tracks...can't say the same for the Pakistani players
