Welcome to the new Swat [A Must Watch Video]

Swat Valley was once controlled by Taliban fighters but they were driven out by Pakistan's army in 2009. With one rickety chairlift and hopes for a peaceful future, Pakistan's once-bustling and only commercial ski resort is attempting a comeback. It is gradually being revived under the guidance of the Pakistani army guard. Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports from Malam Jabba.Credit simply Geos to #KPK Govt. Via Al Jazeera

@Jazzbot

Actually, all the credit goes to the Army. This is all their doing. May God bless our boys.

Actually the real credit goes to the martyrs of Swat operations.

the army is part of govt.

Only the federal government and that too only technically, in our case. I say this because it needs to be known by the people, especially of FATA, how the army is going well beyond its responsibilities to look after our war-ravaged people and areas, the looking after which the government institutes should have been doing. Direly needed today when every supposed intellectual/marxist/socialist/liberal/humanitarian/fundamentalist/religious-ist wannabe wants to bash the army without knowing jack about what's happening.

Increases support for our brave boys which they, undeservedly, haven't had and, maybe, encourages the people to put pressure on the government to do its job.

I absolutely agree with you, as a resident of a once terror ridden area I vouch for everything you said.....
