Visit world highest village middle school in rural Tibet, subarctic climate, no trees can grow

The students brave frigid below -10 celsius temperature and get up even before the sunrise to do the morning exercise in Nagqu region in Tibet.

This village school in Nagqu is one of the world highest middle schools, the envrionment in Seni region is so harsh, subarctic climate, no thing can grow there, it's reported that the government promised 1 million yuan to whoever can grow a tree in Nagqu, but so far without any success.

With an elevation of around 4,500 metres (14,800 ft), Nagqu has a harsh, alpine climate (Köppen EH), closely bordering on a subarctic climate (Dwc), with long, very cold and dry winters, and short, cool summers. In winter, temperatures frequently drop below −20 °C (−4 °F) at night and in summer typically rise to 16 °C (61 °F) during the day. The monthly 24-hour average daily temperature ranges from −11.7 °C (10.9 °F) in January to 9.5 °C (49.1 °F) in July, and the annual mean is only −0.65 °C (30.8 °F)

The video says that in order to ensure the quality and safety of the food, the government orders the school principals and all the teachers to eat with the students together.

Trees are also valuable and rare in Nagqu region, it's reported that the government promised 1 million yuan for whoever can grow a tree in Seni, but so far without any success.

The landscape is so barren, how could people survive in these harsh lands?

How " concentration camps" for children work in Tibet

A day in a Tibet boarding middle school

Tibet is very sparsely populated espeically in pastoral regions, Tibetan herders have to follow their livestocks to different pasture grasslands, so herding families have to leave their children to schools' care.
How students spend their time in school?
6:50 Am- morning physical exercise, jogging
7:00am- breakfast
7:40am- morning classes begin
12:50pm- lunch time
1:30-2:00pm- afternoon nap time
6:20pm- last extracurricular and sports activities and clubs finish

Young Chinese village school teacher jumps around with joy after receiving government pay raise. China greatly improved rural school teachers' pay and benefits to enhance rural education. This young rural school teacher jumped around with joy after receiving over 10,000¥ ($1,574)monthly salary via her cellphone.

Many young village teachers live in school dorms and food is also free, since they are in villages , there's no much of excessive shopping and entertainment they can do, so basically all the money can be saved.

Western media slams China for committing " genocide" " crime against humanity" in Xinjiang and Tibet 24/7, so I guess people get to know the truth and reality on the ground which western media will never let you know.
These places are the most remote, harshest rural regions even in Xinjiang and Tibet, situations in other regions in Xinjiang and Tibet , especially in cities and towns are much better.
