VinFast: Vietnam EV maker valued at more than Ford or GM

chinese brands are undervalued due to association with terror feudal xi
That’s ok for us. The more hostile between the west and China the better. The west will turn into Viet products. Win win. I just hope they not going to kill each other in a nuclear holocaust.

To have more homeless, more slums and more thugs on the streets and more people on the bread line like the US and UK?. No, enjoy your democracy in the US but please not try to export it to any country.

We Vietnamese have seen enough of them, whether in the Phillipines, India or the US or South America and in countries much richer than Vietnam. And the southern part of Vietnam are still struggling economically and socially thanks to 20 years (1955 - 1975) living with American-style democracy. On paper, its GDP is still higher than the North, but the reality tells a much different story.

Hoe many Iraqis or Afghanis did Xi kill? How many black slaves or native American did he kill? Don't give me the Xinjiang genocide shit without evidence.

Let’s wait for Apple 15 release. Those made in China LV bags must be fake. Nobody seriously pay huge sum for made in China bags. that’s why brand is important. France has a higher price tag than China. For instance A birkin bag costs $10,000 minimum. A let’s say Huawei bag would cost $100. People buy status symbol. China has a very negative touch that lowers the selling price. Blame yourself.

The last batch of those bags were made in Vietnam. Are you serious to think LV bags are made in France? Hahahahahahahah.

Exactly my point, the vain buy based on hype and branding, the smart buy based on value. Why do you think before the sanctions, Huawei nearly toppled Samsung? Good tech, value and quality. I have been using my Huawei for 8 years... Dropped it 5 times, not a crack on the screen, my Samsung cracked after one light drop on a carpeted floor. I swore never to buy Samsung again.

Btw, Vinfast had none of the brand hype Apple or Tesla have, they are White brands afterall. VF gives ppl the Vietcong wearing a rice hat vibe.

Potential...... India had that too. Without a large market, good infrastructure and technology, the best Vietnam can become is another Chinese factory. Even 1980s China had fundamental technology. We also have a big overseas Chineze entrepreneurial class. The Chineze story waa created by them first.

Escaped feudalism? Tell that to those hundreds of thousand of homeless people in your major cities. Never imagined people can starve in superpower America.

? u guys are serfs that live on the land owned by elites

you have no properties rights, all u have are some digital rmb, a phone, clothes, food, and right to live on ur lords land for 70 years at a cost of lifetime of mortgage/serfdom

even then ur rmb cant be freely moved, ur internet is censored to suit ur lord’s preferences, ur food is polluted

the fact that hundreds of millions could be locked inside of their home jails is proof that u live under feudalism

our homeless people have freedom, they chose homelessness over government housing because it is more free

I bought 15 shares at 60 for fun. To my surprise it went to 71 now at friday close. Jumped from 20 to 70 and will probably go higher because CEO owns 99% of the float.

Are you sure those overpriced bags are made in Vietnam and China? If so that makes no sense at all when Chinese tourists queue stores in France or Germany to buy the bags.

Hype is short lived. No stock keeps its valuation of just hyped up. Most likely the case, investors look for China alternative and found it in Vietnam stocks. For me very ok. Win win. it’s the perfect moment.

Humans are vain, they worship brands, i can't stop them, i remember some were made in Vietnam, Guatemala and Cambodia, most were made in China. Considering most profitable Chinese stocks already delisted from US exchanges, most likey they will invest in Vietnam but VF? People are only in for the kill. Where the cows gather, there will be a slaughter. Lolol
