Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in 20-20 final yesterday. It is good news after many months of depression. We are passing through a hard time. People are getting depressed due to rising terrorism, inflation and Crime etc. Pakistan’s victory is world cup 20 20 and its victories against terrorists is morale boasting for a nation which is psychologically, and financially hard pressed.
Pakistan is a great country and Pakistani nation is one of the greatest nations in the world. What we lack is a direction and a good leadership. Pakistan is suffering and suffered due to short sightedness of its leaders who failed to be true to their public and in name of strategic compulsions misguided the nation. The nepotism of ruling elite and failure to act in confidence are other reasons due to which we failed to utilize our potential.
Like Pakistani cricket team our people and institutions can do impossible when ever they want. Sky is the only limit for this nation of 180 million. Its history tells give it a good leader and get amazed by the results which they give.
Yesterday few channels reported that Baitullah Mahsud has escaped to Afghanistan. This news is supported by Qari Zainuddin Mehsud’s statement that Baitullahs contacts with his tribe and commanders has broken and he is not in contact of his own organization. I think Government must insure his capture live or dead because if we fail , we will have another Brehamdagh sitting in Kabul terrorizing people in Pakistan.
Chief sectary Punjab has issued a warning that East Turkmenistan Movement’s cadre based in South Waziristan is planning suicide attacks in Pakistan especially Punjab. He warned that at least 30 vehicles laden with explosives and Suicide bombers have entered in Punjab. A suicide bomber woman wearing honey color Burka is said to be in city and can hit any public or government target.

The East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) is a militant Muslim separatist group in Xinjiang province in northwest China. The U.S. State Department listed the ETIM as terrorist in 2002 during a period of increased U.S.-Chinese cooperation on antiterrorism matters in the wake of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The Chinese authorities have called the group a threat (ChinaDaily) to the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but human rights organizations say this was exaggerated to allow the government to crush any form of dissent
ETIM is ally of Al Qaida and Baitullah Mahsud.
It is widely believed that anti china forces like India…. are financing ETIM. Recent Reports suggest that Uighur Terrorists captured from Afghanistan and else where , were recently released from Guantanamo Bay Cuba . These Terrorists were not returned to China but were helped to get resettle in Palau and Albania on the plea that Chinese Government has bad Human rights record. Experts say when US can return/ Hand over Guantanamo detainees to Arab countries and other countries where torture and humiliation is common to prisoners then why US is giving special treatment to Terrorists belonging to China? ????
According to reports published in media, Taliban in Afghanistan are Using Iranian, Chinese and Russian weapons and are financed by the said countries. Where as Pakistani forces claims that TTP is using INDIAN AND NATO weapons against Security forces and large amount of foreign ammunition and weapons have been recovered. In addition to weapons forces have seized many dairies maintained by Taliban commanders.

However, quite obviously, these are contained in the diaries of the leaders, those in positions of authority…..
…The obvious question that comes to mind is from where they obtained this information. Even a chemist would need to be pointed in the right direction to collect the relevant data and schematics. This information has to come from an intelligence agency……

History is the best teacher. We can make good policies for our nation by reading and learning from the history. I was shocked when I was doing my Paper of LTTE in 3rd semester of my Masters when I learned how LTTE Who was Indian Financed and Trained had Relations with HuM and Hikmatyar etc, Both claiming to be fighting for Muslims, when LTTE was bombing Mosques and killing Muslims in Srilanka .
Later on an Indian web site it self revealed how RAW, Indian Intelligence was giving Training to BLA, BLF etc via LTTE.
Our victory in cricket has brought back hope to Pakistan. Like we won 20 20 world cup of cricket, we can win the world cup of Politics. It depends how we play our innings.
One thing is very clear, Its Pakistan due to which we are what we are. In words of Colonal Shafqat Baloch, Sitara e Jurat Bar, 1965 war hero who stopped enemy brigade advance with only 90 men for 24 hours
