What's new

US Ambassador for strengthening US-Bangladesh ties

If Bangladesh gets a sanction, no big whoop for you, since you are Indian in any case.

Dude! Get a life!

I don’t need a BD certificate from you.

Anyone who disagrees with you is an Indian.

You started with @UKBengali, now it’s my turn, next month you will be somebody else’s inquisitor 😂😂🤣🤣

Anyway, there is zero chance of BD exports being sanctioned. Sanctions are only imposed for war crimes and terrorism cases.

Also, zero chance of Republican congress sanctioning a ModiG ally 😂😂

Also, has any of your doom gloom have ever come true!!!!

If you walk into any of these premier US universities, you'll only see Indian, Chinese, and few Iranian and Bangladeshi students into research. Even white professors doesn't hire US students because of the lack of work ethics and that hunger for success.

American tertiary education is the one of the worst in western world.

The only reason it has ground breaking company industries- is due to the fact that the American economy can print as many dollars as it likes, with no checks.

It holds the brown world hostage where those countries have to 'buy dollars ' and then trade with any country is desires.

Destabilise brown that might be a little progressive - then pouch the best and brightest. Whilst spinning subtle racist narratives .

These immigrants are basically driving the technological base of America. Yes a few bright sparks from e.u go there as well but not in droves.

That dude you are speaking to you has next to no knowledge about economics and/or geopolitics.

BD government has strong allies like India, Russia and China and it gets no trade preferences from the USA.

US retailers choose to source nearly 8-900 million US dollars of garments from BD each month as it offers the best price/performance ratio they can obtain.

For the US to go down the sanction route, the administration will need approval from Congress and we know that these retailers will have lots of cash to 'bung" to their Congressman to make sure this is blocked. It would be time consuming and also more expensive for them to source alternative suppliers. India will also use it's immense geopolitical and 'Hinduvta-CEOs' planted in USA to make sure sanctions against BD are never approved.

There is not another country that can replace so much BD garments at short notice as BD is such a critical part of the global garments supply chain right now.

Unfortunately this is another poster whose interests are far above his limited intellectual abilities.

PS - The President can technically sanction BD without Congress Approval but he needs to institute the IEEPA(International Emergency Economic Powers Act)
, which authorizes the president to declare the existence of an "unusual and extraordinary threat... to the national security, foreign policy, or economy of the United States.

Can you see Biden using this power against BD as he would look ridiculous!

If you cannot beat them - then join them and work with them. We should work with the US.

Rebelling against the US is not a Bangladeshi option. Bangladesh will get killed. Do not f*ck around with the US.

Most of the people here advocating political rebellion against the US are false-flagger Indians.

If Bangladesh sinks - they will feel nothing. In fact they will be happy that Bangladesh is again subservient to India.

This has been their Chanakya plan all along, to sink Bangladesh.

They cannot stand the fact that Bangladesh per capita GDP nominal is higher than India.

Yeh hats off to you, first time you made sense, and said something that was sane in mind.

It is wiser for all posters not to read the stupid irrelevant posts of that Gadha @BananaRepublicUK and answer them. He is just a good troller nothing with substance.

I almost do not read his posts.

What do you mean ?

Bangladeshi human rights groups Odhikar and Maayer Daak activists and volunteers demonstrating against enforced disappearances in the country on the International Human Rights Day, in Mymensingh, Bangladesh, Dec. 10, 2022.

International Human Rights Day, brought to us by Ambassador Peter Haas to DPRK ( North Korea ) in the 1950s :

And then to the Libyan Jamahiriya 60 years later :

And then Mr. Peter Haas turned his "human rights delivery" eyes towards Donbass in Ukraine between 2014 and February 24th 2022 :

If Bangladesh gets a sanction, no big whoop for you, since you are Indian in any case.

Why you comment on Bangladesh affairs is just annoying.

What is the problem if Banana is an Indian and comments on BD affairs ? Didn't you just comment on Canadian affairs in this thread ? Why you a Bangladeshi have gone to live and earn in USA and are commenting on Canadian affairs ?

Potentially, any human has the right to comment and analyse anything anywhere including on some object in the Asteroid Belt but distinction should be made about that person being rational, unbiased and progressive, which you are not. :)

Any Muslim that gets into bed with Uncle Sam ends up being pregnant with Jihadis 🤣🤣🤣

Lovely ! I will use this.

@BananaRepublicUK is of Bangladeshi ancestry. It is just the BNP / Jamaati trolls here who are declaring him Indian to hide their own complicity in the NATO regime change project. :) And the BD Jamaatis are more closer to RSS jihadis than to Awami League.

This "NATO Regime Change Project" is a fantasy they cooked up in their minds as it does not exist.

Even if the US wanted to, it no longer has the power to carry out regime change as it once did - Pakistan is different as their politicians and military are traitors.

You can see the BNP shills have now lost heart.

They are just left with personal abuse and conspiracy theories 😂😂

They genuinely believed that idiot US ambassador was going to stir the pot.

But now he himself is left shaken!

Creating a thread about me is soooooo sad!!!

Relations between BD and US are going from strength to strength.

US is importing near 1 billion US dollars from BD of mainly garments but we will increasingly see cheap consumer electronics flooding in. These consumer electronics will serve as the perfect replacement for Chinese goods that the US wants to reduce.

As BD economy grows then we are likely to see increasing orders for US goods such as jet liners - most of the Biman fleet is composed of Boeing planes - although BD dodged a bullet by not buying any 737-Max or any plans in the future.

"The airline will purchase Boeing 777, 787-8 and 787-9, 737-800 and Dash 8-400 in the next 10 years, according to the plan,"

See how well disposed the present BD government is to the US as it will not go with Airbus for jets and still sticking with Boeing.

Geopolitically BD is friendly with India and no longer has rose-tinted expectations about China, after China's suppot for Myanmar during the Rohingya crisis of 2017.

In essence for the USA, BD is a perfectly stable and tolerant Muslim country in S Asia for them. They have absolutely no reason to try to overthrow the current BD government.
