لاہور (مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) پاکستان میں تھری جی لائسنس کی نیلامی کے بعد جہاں عوام سروس کے آغاز کے منتظر ہیں وہیں موبائل کمپنیوں نے بھی اشتہارات کا آغاز کر نے کے ساتھ ساتھ پیکیجز کی تیاری کا عمل شروع کر دیا ہے۔ پاکستان کی موبائل فون کمپنی یوفون کی جانب سے تھری جی پیکیجز کی ’غیر مصدقہ ‘تفصیلات منظر عام پر آئی ہیں جن کے مطابق کمپنی نے تھری جی سروس کو 3 مختلف سپیڈز کے ساتھ متعارف کرانے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق کمپنی کی جانب سے پہلے پیکیج کو ’یو ہائی‘ کا نام دیا گیا ہے جو 256Kbps سپیڈ فراہم کرے گا جبکہ دوسرے پیکیج کو ’یو سوپر سونک‘ کا نام دیا گیا ہے جو 512Kbps سپیڈ فراہم کرے گا جبکہ تیسرے پیکیج کو ’ یوہائپر سونک‘ کا نام دیا گیا ہے جو 1Mbps سپیڈ فراہم کرے گا۔ کمپنی تینوں پیکیجز کے مختلف ریٹس اور ڈیٹا لمٹس رکھی ہیں تاکہ صارفین اپنی سہولت کو دیکھتے ہوئے پیکیج حاصل کر سکیں۔ اطلاعات کے مطابق تینوں پیکیجز میں روزانہ، ہفتہ وار اور ماہانہ کے حساب سے ڈیٹا لمٹس اور ان کے ریٹس مختص کئے گئے ہیں۔

What the hell.......they are offering 3G service as a broadband company, there should be no limit on speed are they even serious if this is correct than this is bullshit they are offering 256kb 512kb 1mb and 2mb packages. What they really should have done was to limit the data only not the speed you dumb ***.

early on they will try to recover as much money they can, and this method seem to work.
unless zong comes in with cheap rates this will persist

my wi-tribe broadband is 512kbps (but actually speeds go to as high as 70/80 kbps ) does the above package mean that i m better off using 3g mobile internet on my iphone3 ... plz someone guide me ...

Yes, For mobiles, Mobile Packages are better then WIMAX or DSL, but if you want to use Laptop/Desktop then better to go with Wimax, since they have higher download limits as compare to GSM

This is way slower than 3G...

and why they have multiple speeds to make it more complicated? Why not just 1 fixed speed limit with packages varying on bandwidth only.

Yeah if u get a 2mb 3G connection you will have around 200-250kbps on your phone.
