IMHO. 052C is better. It has AGEIS like advanced radar and fire control system. Just take a look at 052C's four side you will see that it got the SPY-1 style radar system!

Type 52C has far more firepower, and has real fleet defense capabilities.

ticonderoga class which is 8000 ton, 2000 ton less than AB3 class yet has 122 long range SAMS while AB only has 96. Both uses aegis system. You could pack more in 7000 ton class, but whether it is necessary is completely up to the country. Plus, horizon class with similar tonnage also carries 48 SAMS, there must be a reason why 3 class designed and used by 4 different country in the same weight class all opted the number 48.
