Yes bro, T-155 Firtina is based on S. Korean K-9 Howitzer but If You check specifications of both Howitzer, You can realise many differences between them. For Exam. Size, Hull design, Engine, Fire control system...etc. Turkish fire control system is much more capable than K-9's one, so S. Korea offer their K-9 to Australia with Turkish fire control system for Australian Howitzer tender..

and All part of T-155 Firtina is manufactured in Turkey by Turkish engineers and workers including barrels... Only Engine packages are came from Germany MTU (1000bg)...

Here is new produced T-155 Firtina's...3 of them are waiting for paints...
