Interview with Maulana Guldad Khan , he is madrassah teacher in Bajur , he clearly spells out the support TTP is getting in Kunar and Jalalabad from these CENTCOM types

1. While Taliban were there in Bajur he declared sucide attacks as un Islamic
2. He originally came from Swat into Bajur during the time of the Soviet invasion
3. After Soviet invasion when Taliban came to Afghanistan people thought now there will be peace
4. When Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan came first they thought these people will be ok
5. He studied the behaviour of TTP and found it contradictory to Islamic teachings
6. TTP was declaring everyone Kafir , they called Fauj Kafir and declared Jihad on Pakistan
7. He made speech in 2007 that TTP is not for the benefit of Islam or the country, in fact because of them Islam came into disrepute , Madrasah’s got spolit , Jihad came into disrepute
8. He named them Tehrik e Zaliman
9. TTP butchered and slit throats of those Ulema who declared that fighting against Pakistan is not Jihad
10. Ulema declared that Pakistan is country founded in the name of Islam , perhaps there are people in it who are sinfull but they cannot be called kafir , as a result TTP slit their throats
11. Hindustan gives money to them, the 40 governments that are there in Afghanistan all give them money
12. In Kunar and Jalalabad they have homes, they get treatment and get monthly stipends as well
First of all, I think you forgot to mention something very important, before he said “Hindustan gives money to them, the 40 governments that are there in Afghanistan all give them money”

he said “main ne jo samjha hai, khud nahi dekha hai” (as I understand, though I have not seen myself).

In other words, his narrative is based on rumors and low class conspiracy theories.

Secondly, Maulana Gul Dad Khan is not some non-bias innocent “madrassah teacher in Bajur”, Gul Dad Khan is the head of peace lashkars (committees), Tehrik insarul Islam in Bajaur agency and is been fighting the Taliban’s with the support of our security forces since 2008, therefore his views are worthless propaganda.

Maulana Abdul Hakeem, an active anti-Taliban and pro-government leader, and a close relative of JUI-F Bajaur agency former Ameer Maulana Gul Dad Khan, was killed on Monday,

Thirdly, let us look at other important factors, no doubt our security forces have done an excellent job in Bajaur agency but, let's not ignore the American contribution in that effort.

Bajaur’s TTP chief Mullah Dadullah was killed by the American drone strike in Afghanistan in August, 26, 2012, because of his death Pakistan was able to lift four-year-old curfew. Note, the curfew was lifted on 20th October, 2012 , two months after the death of Dadullah.

Dawn | Anwarullah Khan | 26th August, 2012

KHAR, Aug 25: The proscribed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has confirmed the killing of its Bajaur region chief Mullah Dadullah in a Nato air strike in Afghanistan on Friday.

Talking to reporters from an unidentified location on Saturday, a TTP spokesman said that Dadullah and his companions were returning to their hideout in Afghan province of Kunar after carrying out raids in a border area of Bajaur Agency when they came under attack.

He said Maulana Abu Bakr, a senior member of TTP, had been nominated new chief of the Bajaur region on the directives of TTP chief Hakimullah Mehsud. Afghan officials and TTP `commanders’ said the drone strike by Nato in a mountainous area of Shigal district killed 19 militants, including Dadullah and his deputy Abdur Rahman. At least eight Afghan-based Pakistani militants were injured in the attack and taken to a hospital in Asadabad, Afghanistan. Read more
