The Other Pakistan
By Reuters

Though instability continues to plague Pakistan and many areas are dominated by social conservatism, some of the country's more affluent residents have worked to fashion a very different kind of lifestyle for themselves.

Pictures of men and women taking part in all sorts of activities and professions - from being a pilates instructor, to a textile retail entrepreneur, to a member of a rock band - offer a different view of Pakistan to images of conflict that often make the news.

all these people are from millionaire families, 99.9 percent of pakistan don't do any of this stuff.
these guys can afford to. we all know in reality that this is not our country and we are fooling our selves if we say that people live like this in any part of pakistan. perhaps the millionaires but nobody else.

A woman smoking cigarette...

A philipino maid holding a glass of water to her lady....

A woman smoking water pipe....

This article begins and ends at 2 different notes. It could have been better if the personal lives of the so called less conservative women was not shown.

. .
These people are in no-way representative of Pakistan; heck they're not even a minority....!

The Other side of Pakistan (in a feminine context) could have easily shown the amount of hardwork our regular women do - the ones who are mothers, wives & daughters along with being professionals in their field of choosing.

. .
Cool. However it doesn't represent to all Pakistani in general, it is just their life as they do.
