April 1945 - The Red Army surrounds Berlin, and closes in to finish off the Third Reich. A bloody battle is fought to raise the Soviet banner atop the Reichstag, the final symbol of German defeat. "On to the Reichstag" is the Soviet battle cry.

"but no, it was actually close"

one day the western/zionist propaganda will wear off, and the german army's of ww1/ww2 will get their proper respects.... one of the greatest fighting forces in human history.

Germans should be proud of their soldiers. They fought tooth and nail against unimaginable odds, and brought the entire world to their knees. their tombs lay unvisited, unrecognized, and outright demonized.

All soldiers allied or axis, good or bad should be respected and honored as they are just a political mechanism in the grand scheme of things they can't not obey an order. Even the German's should honor their fallen, as they humbled the world in that bloody conflict, it's due to them that many colonial colonies became free including South Asia. We are taught history from one single point of view, but ask those who lived under European rule what that conflicts after effect meant to them.
