Huh, so the army took over. Let's see where this goes, hopefully it won't lead to a dictatorship, and civil rule will be restored soon.

This is nothing new considering how the Thai Armed Forces is seen as not just a hand of the Government, but also the de-facto protector of Thai Society. Albeit it has a more conservative position, leaning towards the monarchy's interests. Let's see if the Red Shirts will acquiesce to this...

Thailand is another Country where Corrupt Politicians had destroyed the fabric of their Society. Hopefully the Army can bring back Sanity to their Country.

I hope pakistan is next so we can get rid of politician leaches sucking on nation's hard earned money.

Im sure there is foreign backing in this coup...

Thailand has been wrecked by political turmoil, with the red and yellow shirts going after each other’s throats.

long overdue martial law will reinstate political stability until a new civilian government is put in place.

yah dont worry. IK will get his turn in 2050. meanwhile the nation is burning and needs to be rescued by people who will do something instead of just protesting.

as long as the composition between Red Shirt and Yellow shirt is at draw, this political turmoil will going on

Red Shirt is backed by Thailand Police forces, meanwhile Army backed the Yellow bourgeois class of Thailand. It is more like clash of interest in Thailand political backdrops, in which all of conflict participants want to shape their economic and political decisions in Thailand according their tastes. Rural class of Red Shirts wants more subsidy in Agricultural sectors and more political power beside the already constituted Political class in which already formed around the King and Army. Meanwhile, the Yellow shirt like the other conservative Bourgeois class they want to maintain the status quo and their positions.
