The governor of Sverdlovsk Alexander Misharin has informed on it at the international exhibition of arms in Nizhni Tagil.

- The prime minister Vladimir Putin has approved our offer earlier supported by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of the industry and trade of the Russian Federation together with "Ural Carriage-Building Plant" to generate on "Staratele" a federal platform, range and salon for realization of possibilities and prospects of development of techniques of arms. It should become the main fair-exhibition in the country for military technology sale.

The governor has noticed that for this purpose it is necessary for region to attract more foreign experts, to spend on it symposiums, techniques demonstrations, seminars and official negotiations. Therefore it is necessary to create at first constant halls for carrying out programs, an infrastructure for placing of participants. At the same time the range should be re-equipped, communication is strengthened, and the logistics is reconsidered.

The project on creation of a demonstration platform will be realized at the expense of federal funds and investments of industrial corporations. Regional budget also will make contribution, Misharin has underlined.

We should upgrade our t90's to this standard would be great for our armed forces
t90 + arjun mk2 + upg t72 will be a very hard pill to get down for our enemies

I'm little skeptical. Russian m/c looks cools but always have some flaws inbuilt into the system. We had to do much of the things to get rid of these bugs ( Klub missiles) and in some case remove the system ( Shotra- T90).
Arjun Mark-II is the way forward.
The remaining T-90 tanks which is yet to be delivered , can be uograded to this standard AFTER EVALUATING the COST, EFFECTIVENESS and the TIME DELAY.
Russians have not so impressive record on all these variables.
