A welcoming ceremony was held for the guest military personnel who completed their training at the Somali Turkish Task Force Command / Mogadishu Mountain Commando School and Training Center Command, and a farewell ceremony was held for the guest military personnel who will go to Isparta to receive commando training.

The "Course Closing and Badge Ceremony" was held for the Somali guest military personnel who successfully completed the "Commando Basic Training" by the Command of the Combating Terrorism Training and Exercise Center in Isparta.

How is it going on the ground? Has stability improved and is Al Shabab beaten back in some areas? Also, any updates on the TB2s in Somalia?

Al-Shabaab still controls some regions. The arms embargo is a major issue as the Somali army can't bring in any weapons. There were reports of Turkey providing Bayraktar TB2 drones to Somalia, but I don't have any contact with the Somali govt, so not sure if the drones are on Somali soil.

Allah(cc) bless the people of Somalia. Mogadishu is fast catching up and developing, today largely free from the threat of terrorism and civil war.

This development will be felt across the country as the Somali Army completes its transformation. They need a few more years and arms embargo on Somalia needs to be lifted. The national army is the future of Somalia. And Turkish state is determined to fulfill its brotherhood duties in this field until the end.
