You guys will be bored if Indians stopped posting in PDF!!

Hello Mr. Kafir(said on your avatar). we insist you guys do us the Honor by leaving this forum. Personally I didn't expect this many Bharti in Pakistani forum before joining. So when are you leaving us? :coffee:

If you add Awami regime forced Bangladeshi officers to salute indian general during passing out and Awami appointed hindu ambassador hoisting indian flag and licking indian general boots - what picture emerges? Awami regime with calculative moves trying to make Bangladesh armed force subservient to indian command.

And that’s why when a general went to visit China; indians are all making noise and concerned if there is any glitch in their plan to have a subservient BD armed force?

GENERAL JACOB ISSUE

The political cost of Bhowmik's misdemeanour, gross violation of diplomatic norms, practices, nuances and disgraceful acts is that it projects a poor image of Bangladesh in Nepal, the report says.

"He escorted former Indian army official General Jacob to a few meetings in Katmandu in his car carrying Indian flag," it reads.

At the Mujibnagar Dibash programme at hotel Yak & Yeti on Mar 17, 2010, the ambassador asked Nepalese army band to play national anthems of Bangladesh, Nepal and India, the report says.

There are lot less Bangladeshi members on this forum. I expect more. There should be more.

It is not forcing anyone to salute anyone.

It is customary for officers of all Armies to salute officers of senior ranks of other armies.

Mere protocol that is internationally accepted.

Salute is merely a sign of greeting and it is those who are not aware of the significance of a salute show their inferiority complex.

Sometimes I wonder if you have TV in Bangladesh.

If you have, haven't you seen when VIPs come to your country, the military officers in the line, salute the VIP?

Are they demeaning themselves?

Exaggerated sensitiveness is an expression of the feeling of inferiority.

Bangladeshi members often get criticized for joining this forum. I have been called many names for being a member here and commenting. I have pointed out that there are hundreds of Indian members here but that makes no difference to my critics. There are many in Bangladesh with closed minds influenced by Indian and AL propaganda making open debate impossible and so people are reluctant to become members here or they have the wrong impression about PDF. What is unfortunate is that there is no Bangladesh Defence Forum. There were two defence forums run by Bangladeshis but became unpopular as people within the defence forces were fearful of commenting as they could be targeted by the government and lose their promotions. In Bangladesh we are not allowed to have an open debate about defence issues because in 90% of cases India would be viewed as the enemy or at least a hostile entity and so embarrassing the government whether BNP or AL.

The day Bangaldesh can cough up the money to buy out PDF, your dream will come true.

Till then, just enjoy and not go off on a tangent to murky the waters.

Drink your coffee (the emoticon) that you have appended at the end of your post.

Who knows you may not find it there, having evaporated through the heat of your bile!

Rather a pathetic excuse.

One must monitor their self-pity. Self-pity is very unattractive.

Surprising in Bangaldesh there is no freedom of expression and yet there is so much of brouhaha here about Bangladesh being the future of the world!

lets assume that you are correct. in such case, every citizen of Bangladesh must be already knowing that AL is soft towards India. So explain me, how come they had landslide victory in the previous elections? Do your fellow citizens are not concerned about national security then? :flame:

Would it be surprising if it was stated that it was the Indians who voted, since the citizens did not understand the new Electronic Voting Machine being too modern a contraption?

It is so easy to palm off self inflicted wounds on anyone and every one and never agree it was because one did not know the rear from the front of a weapon!

This goes to show how little if anything you know about Bangladesh and unfit for making conversation on the subject.

That is the typical response from a person who don't know how to counter the argument..

That is why he is asking.

Have you an answer?

Why deflect?

AL did get a landslide, didn't it?

Who voted for them?
