I wonder if the world going to adopt the 5th gen. Then why the Chinese Russian and the European still keep developing the 4.5 gen fighters.

like isn't it a waste of money to build more j10 and migs and rafale.

Since the chances of these fighters surviving a clash with a fivth gen fighter is low.

because the 5th gen fighter is totally different category, their ability to get too close to the opponent and shoot at him first thats by itself an edge over every thing built for the 4.5 gen fighters.

So either the ability of the 5th gen is very exagerated or they should direct their effort toward more 5th fighters instead of the money wasting of makingmore ducks ready for mass slauter.

5th gen is definitely way better than 4.5 gen. Way more aerodynamic. Only superpowers have the ability to develop 5th gen.

Nay, but since you asked, Russians probably have tested DSI and decided it isn't for them.
The old Russian fighter doctrine is still alive, and DSI seems out of place.

All it takes is to run dozen of simulations in fluid dynamics to accumulate proper data on DSI to implement it on any platform.

DSI is in fact a much simpler design too.
