How can Mushahid Hussain show satisfaction over the PN's operational preparedness in the present state....

These committees are just an eye wash to fill in the files and claim TA/DA's. No good have ever come out of them and never will.
These goof's don't understand anything during the presentations.

I hope navy ask them to increase their budget , Navy desperately needs $$

A senior Pakistani lawmaker has urged the government to expedite the purchase of new submarines for the Pakistan Navy (PN), in one of the first public statements on the matter.

Speaking in the Senate on 24 February, Senator Mohsin Leghari said: "Our submarines are old. We have to ask ourselves if with the state of our submarines, we can meet the challenge of the global environment."

Since 2011 Pakistan and China have discussed Pakistan's potential purchase of up to six submarines. Citing senior Pakistani officials, IHS Jane's recently reported that these talks may conclude in an agreement by the end of 2014.

Do you seriously believe, a politician can show his dis-satisfaction regarding the operational preparedness of defence forces ..... and that too in open media statement .... ??

I think naval command has explained the situation in detail to the political leadership which they have realised to a certain extent ... hope for some good news ...

Obviously he cannot show dis-satisfaction in the media.
In reality, they do nothing after such briefings. The just tend to make headlines and end of story. The Naval command is equally at fault for not pursuing their case more strategically.

I have been witness to some personally.
