Well from a strategic point of view considering Saudia was about to host their Largest Investment Conference in History , and this incident happened stuff do not add up

Seems like a very deliberate attempt to force Saudi Conference to Fail and cause economic harm to Saudia Arabia

Also it was a indirect attempt to Harm improving Turkish - Saudi Ties which were blossoming in last 10 years or so , Turkish drama and movies were becoming very popular in Saudi Citizens viewing

"Logical Question: You have a Massive Investment / Conference about to Start in your country why would you hurt your own country by getting involved in this strange scandal? And that too on Turkish Soil"

Why would Turkey be involved their Big Project companies would love to work in Saudi Projects on Table

  • Everyone knows Saudia wants to give out Mega Projects
  • Turkish Firms would love to Win Projects in Saudia

I think the global goal was to harm Turkish-Saudi ties

Pakistan stands fully with Saudis and Turkish Nation in this difficult time where their nations have been targeted thru this heinous misinformation campaign

the Saudi Kingdom have money and not much else. Western democracies who loves to champion human rights against their opponents have always been silent towards Saudi barbarity because of the Saudi $$. The former UN head Ban Ki-Moon publicly stated that the Saudis practice economic blackmail when it comes to criticizing the regime's gross record of human rights abuses.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...lacklist-removed-after-one-week-a7073046.html

Saudis can even buy their way to the UN women's rights commission. I don't think I need to explain how big of a joke this is...
Nah there is no conspiracy here, the Saudi regime simply grew too arrogant as to the crimes they can commit and silence international outcry with $$. No country has a moral ground when it comes to Saudi crimes, China, Russia also wants that Saudi $$.

  • US - Turkey ties were strained and super negative

  • Turkey was facing economic crisis as they had imprisoned a suspected Agent from US

  • Turkey - Saudi Ties were moving along rapid pace in positive Direction

  • For no reason at all , we are being led to believe someone in Saudia would order assassination on Turkish soil inside Saudi Embassy (It has to be inside Saudi Embassy)

  • Saudia loose many visitor to their Economic Investment Conference

  • Turkey releases US agent

  • Trump of course makes claims Saudia must pay money for it's protection

  • Strain on Turkish - Saudi Ties
  • News are now circulating US-Turkish ties are back to old levels

Dynamics of the story are interesting , either Saudia takes the fall and hurt or Turkey takes the hurt one way or other 1 nation takes a global defamation

If Turkey could not prove the stuff by video Turkish PM blamed for killing sanctions on Turkey
If Turkey proves they are innocent then blame Saudi Royal Family for killing , extort money

In either case neither Turkey nor Saudia Gain from this mess

As a person who lived in Saudi for three decades and rubbed shoulders with power echelons..let me tell you something....much of the upper security establishment of Saudi is heavily addicted to drugs and its security departments have dark clusters which can often operate above the law. Sometimes simple orders passed by royal figures are interpreted as extreme in a competition of loyalty - attempts to prove themselves more loyal to the Shah than the Shah himself. And this is exactly what happened...extreme hardcore loyalist were picked up for the job and they did what they thought would bring them medals and promotions at Riyadh. MbS and Saudi government on their part can never ever be so stupid to take such a rash decision. Always remember that OBL was the biggest dissident in Saudi history going as far as staging terrorist attack to bring down the government and the maximum sentence he got for it is stripping down of his citizenship and exile out of the country.

Saudi have never over stepped human dignity and international norm of law in dealing with rebels and dissidents unlike Saddam, Bashar and Ghaddafi...however, this is first time in Saudi history that all limits were trespassed and official consulate was used as butchering grounds.

It may be time for MbS to distance himself from blind loyalist and take a pill of rationality and also wean off from super-human drug pumped security officers. This even is starting to show that MbS has put too much on his plate and pressure is exceeding his capacity to handle..he may lose control of vital security institution reducing his power grip to mere cosmetically. The state can head in direction of being hijacked by a shadow government as much as it happened in final years of King Fahd rule. Where royal family was too powerless to confront its home growth mutaween and jihad obsessed security agencies - leading up to 9/11

Very likely explanation is the spoiled prince MBS.. he has been known to be impetuous..

Turkey - Saudi Ties were moving along rapid pace in positive Direction

Where do you brain fart this nonsense - Saudi Turkish ties have taken a hit since Turkey has come in open support of Qatar and refuse to close down its base in Qatar.

Most likely one of insiders may have formed a group to do this task , someone with in royal family , as many people may have had a beef with the Journalist. Saudia may do their own internal investigation.

Why would the Saudi King or Prince Salman be worried about this peasant, when they have bigger issues to look at such as economy and reforms?

As for Turkey , it is well Understood Saudi / Turkish Ties have improved greatly in last 10 years.

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud emphasized the strength of the relationship between Riyadh and Ankara in a telephone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Saudi press agency said Sunday.

According to the Saudi press agency, King Salman thanked Erdogan for welcoming the Saudi government's proposal to form a joint working group to probe the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, and stressed no one could undermine their relationship.

Jamal K family demanded the dead body from KSA.

I think so too, this rookie is trapped ...someone used his shoulder

The drug addicted Saudi deep state which wanted to create a crisis around Turkey for getting even on Turkey support for Qatar. MbS surrounded himself with the same kind of loyalist like his uncle King Fahd and his last decade of rule was the worst era of KSA.

Not to mention dismissing the Bin Naif and Bin Abdullah clan and taking over all three security establishment of KSA means MbS has far too many enemies than he can ever think.

The biggest person who has beef with Khasoggi was no other than MBS himself. As Khashoggi wrote directly criticizing MbS, he warned him of surrounding himself with the wrong kind of loyalist and feared for his life when entering the Saudi consulate.

Unlike the regimes of Saddam, Bashar, Qaddafi etc..political dissidents in Saudi have never feared for their lives..maximum sentences could be house arrests to life time detention at VIP jails. This is the first ever time in Saudi history when a state backed overseas assassination was carried out.

Almost 80 years old deep rooted family ties and loyalties can not be abolish over night. MBS is alone. When Trump said , KSA govt can not stand 2 weeks without US help ....means alot and so much inside statement .
