Reality of 2-Nation Theory

I would be inclined to agree, however, 1971 also emphasises the importance of cultural values that exist among the various Muslim communities in the Indian sub-continent. The Indus valley and the east Bengal shouldn't been yolked together to begin with, Rehmat Ali's idea of several independent Muslim nations across the Indian sub-continent was a much more appropriate suggestion.

Nah dude. 71 was not about merely about culture. It was about injustice and wrong policies.

Long topic, but East and West Pakistan could have stayed together if the elites in West Pakistan really wanted to. The fact is, they didn't care. The preferred their power consolidation over unity of the two wings of Pakistan. Oh well, whatever happened, happened. Time to learn from mistakes and move forward

But one must ask why they felt so indifferent, and it comes down to differing cultural values, a significant one being that Bengalis just weren't as fond of a pan-Islamic union.

punjabi muslims can't live with bangali muslim , this proves two nation theory .

bangali muslims left pakistan to form bangladesh this is two nation theory .
bengalis left Pakistan to create a new muslim country because of two nation theory that muslims and hindus are two different nations . hindu bengal of india and muslim bangladesh is its self a good example of two nation theory . bengalis on both sides but muslim bengalis and hindu bengalis dont want to live together
