The Rawalakot Hawks have taken home victory and were declared winners of the Kashmir Premier League 2021 after handing the Muzzafarabad Tigers a 7-run defeat.
In the nail-biter, the Hawks set a 170-run target for their opponent which they could not achieve despite the efforts of Zeeshan Ashraf who totaled 46 runs.
Along with the batsman, Mohammad Hafeez too pitched in 29 runs to the chase.
However the Tigers were unlucky as Asif Afridi and Hussain Talat came in to grab three wickets each.
Earlier the Tigers won the toss and decided to bowl against the Hawks.
In the first innings, Kashif Ali and Bismillah Khan made a notable contribution with 54 and 30 runs respectively to post a 169-run total.
As for the Tigers Usama Mir and Mohammad Hafeez picked 2 wickets each.
Asif Afridi was declared Player of the Match.
