Indeed, They were meeting each other during the molotov ribbentrop pact
and I stated the same thing in the Caption

Indeed history is written by the victors. Out of 2,200,000 Soldiers in the German army, There were atleast 150,000 Jewish Soldiers who died happily alongside their Nazi Kamraddens.

German Technology during World war 2:
The MP44 fitted with the Zielgerat 1229 Vampir

Me 262 Schwalbe:
Probably the worlds first Jet engined aircraft. When allied aircraft saw these jet planes, They sh*t their pants.

The younger brother of the Me262, the Me 163 Komet:

The worlds first Cruise missile:
The German V1/2 Rockets.

German Helicopters:

I think this is a Focke Achgelis Fa 223 (Note the dual engines, Very uncommon untill the V22 Osprey came in)
flettner_kolibri_15.jpg

The Fi282, Probably the worlds first attack helicopter? Usually MG42 mounted for selfe defense, But this really was an ASW.

Last but not least, The craziest thing the Germans tried to make:
17210_1641360936083481_4889324987040365581_n.jpg

VTOL Spinning Jet flying fighter thingy. The Triebflügeljäger, desgined by Focke-Wulff. This high-flyer was supposed to cope with the always smaller becoming amount of airfields in the Reich. The three engines were supposed to rotate around the plane and give enough boost to fly effectively.
The only problem was, that the sight of the pilot was always hindered by the rotating engines, so he couldn't see what was happening behind him.
The only prototype of this plane, as seen on the photo, was, as far as I know, destroyed at the end of the war, sadly.
Top speed was 999Kmph and range was 2784km.

Honorary mention, The Mercedes Benz T80:
112_0607_mbt_14z%2Bmercedes_benz_museum_tour%2B1939_mercedes_benz_t80_world_record_car.jpg

Six wheeled 3000hp 44.5 Litre Mid engined DB 603 V12 engine built in 1939. (An average cars displacement is 1.5Litres while this is 44.5 litres)
The target speed was 750km/h but the war broke out and it was put into storage. After the war they drove it up to 634 km/h in 1947. Today it rests in the Mercedes-Benz museum and Mercedes is actually thinking about testing out its top speed.

The German jets although revolutionary, were not in enough numbers to make an impact on the outcome of the war.
They were poor dogfighters but useful against allied bombers.
ME 163 was too short legged. Many times pilot had to glide his way back after making a gun pass through a bomber formation. It lacked range and fire power ( low ammo ).

Second pics say that its 1942/43..o_O
The Me262? Yep it was made in that era.

They were made of wood aswell, Because all the metal was used elsewhere.
