I think the toughest part would be building the rail link in the GB northern areas. The mountainous terrain is very unforgiving and would require a lot of capital tunnelling through the mountains.

They are upgrading all the existing tracks.Yesterday I saw a lot of people and heavy mechinery working near bahawalpur.They were replacing existing old track with new one.
I hope situation will be better in a few years.
