State has prime responsibility of punishing those who commit Blasphemy and also those who bring false accusations. The moment State starts doing this both mob attacks will reduce also false accusations will reduce and instead of take law in there own hands people will report to Police about those who commit Blasphemy.

@Horus

already many threads on this topic .Please not provoke public by using this incident. The more you do more such incidents happen. All this is done by foreign agencies to divide our society and waste our time.In u.s Muslim judge was killed but their media is not highlighting.this incident is great conspiracy against Pakistan we should not highlight it all the time

Not really. We should have the maturity to discuss issues that are plaguing our society. Removing this thread won't remove the fact that people all over the world know about it.

But the thing is, the people who are descending down like vultures are exactly the same people who DO NOT start threads of indignation when the first Muslim woman judge in the US is found dead in a river. This is not about 'humanity', 'islam', or 'prophet'. It's about the fact that they do not consider the punishment of blasphemy to be death and they will use every excuse to run circles around the punishment of death penalty for blasphemy.

The discussion we need to be having is why the state fails to implement the punishment, which is leading people to take the law in their own hands.

there is no need to. We are following a law blindly which has no Islamic backing. artice 295-C of constitution under which the law falls is an extension to british penal code 295-A & B(nothing ISlamic in it).
the authenticity of this law is to be challenged in the light of Hadiths,Quran and sunnah
no verse in Quran orders muslims to kill like this where as looking at the life of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) sunnah teaches us to forgive people even like abu lahab who disrespected Islam and Prophet

Death is not the punishment for blasphemy

Prophet Muhammad (saw) didn't killed anyone on blasphemy

Abu jhl wasn't killed and he was blasphemer

People of taif took blasphemy to its peak but they weren't killed instead prophet Muhammad (saw) prayed for them

The women that used to throw garbage on prophet Muhammad (saw) was not killed

Muslima kazab claimed he is prophet but he was not killed until he challenged the authority of state

Our beloved prophet Muhammad (saw) was symbol of love and peace he was not symbol of brutality

We remember him as RahmatulAleemen

Blasphemy law in Pakistan is against the laws of Islam

We need to show the right path to the blasphemer and that's it we have no right to decide about life and death of anyone

Such a law is anti Islamic, those who insult the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) can answer to Allah, we do not have the authority to do anything to them.

Here is what Islam actually says about it:

"When you hear the signs of Allah held in defiance and ridicule, you are not to sit with them unless they turn to a different theme." [An-Nisa 4:140]

"Hold to forgiveness, command what is right; but turn away from the ignorant." [Al-A'raf 7:199]

"Have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity)." [Qur'an 73:10]

"Allah is with those who restrain themselves." [Qur'an 16: 128]

"And if you punished, let your punishment be proportionate to the wrong that has been done to you; but if you show patience, that is indeed the best course. [Qur'an 16:126]

". . . But they uttered blasphemy . . . if they repent, it will be best for them, but if they turn back, Allah will punish them." [At-Tawbah 9:74]

So even when they deserve punishment, the Quran states that Allah will punish them. Allah. Not people. I wonder, do any of those crazed 'students' consider themselves to be Allah (nauzubillah)? Then what gives them the right to carry out such a punishment?

Killing innocents in the name of Islam is the true blasphemy.

It would be much more reasonable to have an anti-hate speech law, which can include insulting remarks against any religion, with a penalty of a fine and a few months in prison. That would be a proportionate punishment. Anything else is excessive and will create injustice.

Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that you may receive admonition.” (Surah An-Nahl: 90)

the link you shared has no Quranic verses supporting it but there are numerous verses of Quran that defy the law

I don't follow your molvies
I try to follow Holy Quran and prophet Muhammad (saw)
Shame on you you think that these molvies are more credible than our beloved prophet Muhammad (saw)
Give me an example where prophet Muhammad (saw) himself killed someone on blasphemy
My beloved prophet Muhammad (saw) asked ummah to follow Quran and his sunnat he didn't asked us to follow molvies in his last speech
Death is not the punishment for blasphemy

We should have made example of mumtaz qadri by putting him in front of dogs or vultures so no one else thinks of doing such thing

You people are bigger blasphemer than salman tasser you idiots are twisting and turning hadees to your liking
Tm log tu Muhammad (saw) pa or Sahaba pa bhotan laga ra ho

The complete body of Shariah encompasses Quran, Sunnah, and the seerat of Sahabah May Allah be Pleased with them. The link I quoted is an actual Fatwa issued by valid religious scholars.

Sunnah teaches us to even pardon people like abu lahab who was the worst enemy of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH)
whereas quranic verses have been shared in the earlier post condemning any such law
moreover the law has been derived by british penal code 295-A that has not been formulated in light of Islamic teachings
