Congratulations to Siddhartha Mukherjee on winning Pulitzer for his book "The Emperor of All Maladies" in the non-fiction category. He is the second Indian American Bengali after Jumpa Lahiri to win Pulitzer. Proud of him!

Nothing to be proud about being good at your masters language :argh: There I saved every one the trouble.

Good job! Bengalis and their literary skills! And if thats not enough he happens to be a cancer physician and a Rhodes Scholar:taz:

It is non-fiction. So I guess it's more about the content than the narration, which needs the mastery over babu's language.

Interestingly His book is called "The Emperor of All Maladies" and Jumpa Lahiri's Pulitzer winning book is called "Interpreter of Maladies" . :)

Certainly, Indian Americans are leaving a great mark. I am really happy and thrilled. Will certainly read the book.
