That is a US posturing that seems to be working with weak countries..It didn’t work with China or India, but Egypt will have great difficulties standing to Trump..Just have a look at Turkey and how he sent her lira reeling with just a tweet...Egypt stability is a lot more dépendant of the US.

The Yanks have a very skewed policy. They like to handout certificates and approvals. Certain nations get a free pass and others have to follow Yankee dictation.

We would love to upgrade our F-16s and get some more, but luckily the Yanks would never oblige. This is a blessing in disguise.

We wouldn’t have our JF-17 and other homegrown projects if we were reliant on the Americans.

The Russians aren’t at that stage where they would offer their fighter jets to Pakistan. Frankly, Pakistan would be better off concentrating on homegrown options with the help of our great ally China. There is no need to look anywhere.
