1. Our foreign minister Dr. Dipu Moni off to Islamic country to meet the Custodian of the Holy Mosques barely weeks after declaring Bangladesh is Not a moderate Muslim country, it is Secular state with muslim majority. Law minister also reported to leave for IRAN to attend a conference of Muslim countries !! Dpu Moni is scheduled to observe Umrah along with PM. We will be waiting to see what the official statement would say post meeting of our PM and the King . Will they include Muslim Brotherhood , Ummah ....etc ? We will have to wait and see.
2. Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir is out on bail. He has been convicted and had been serving time.His nomination was rejected by RO. His appeal too was rejected by y EC. He got back his nomination thru SC stay order. EC will have to challenge this for final disposal. He will have to do something about his bail as well to stay outside. Will he be able to clear himself and hang on to his JS membership , let alone Chairmanship of a JS standing Committee ?
3. Political and Intelligentia Big Guns are blazzing on all barrels about KZs cantonment house , but very Quiet on dam on Tipaimukh by India !!!!!
4. We are happy to see prompt support for BDR carnage Shaheeds families by the Govt and Private sector . What have we done for valiant freedom fighters and families of 1971 Shaheeds ? Do we have a list of Shaheeds ? Ershad raised thousands of crores for Jamuna Bridge. Why couldnt we raise a fund to look after our Shaeeds families ????
5. Promises are made only to be broken. Its clear that efforts are on to weaken Independence of Judiciary , Local Government and of course Dudak. Dudaks independence is under attack . AL and BNP are united to root out corruption from Dudak !! And the attack is led by a convict !! What an irony for Democracy !!
6. Listed wanteds like Ziauddin ( BNP ) , Hazari , Shamim Osman , Shahalam ( Bashundhara Chief ) all slips into the country unnoticed evading law enforcing agencies . They even manage to go to courts with entourage without being noticed !! Mr. Shahalam even makes it to the secured cantonment , attend press conference with sitting Army Chief, donates hundreds of crores worth of cash and land, all over electronic media & press, yet cant be caught by law enforcing agencies !!!!!!!!!
7. Amader Shomoy defends Bashundhara Chief vehemently , finds it ridiculous that Mr. Shahalam is viewed as corrupt and suspect !! They are still claiming that they do preach honesty and democracy ! May be poors can not afford Juctice any more !!!! Yes, it is probably matter of affordability !!!!
8. Mr. Mohit ignored Probashis in his stimulous package. Trade bodies are fighting for their share. No patrons for Probashis. Probashi leaders are busy with Zia and Mujib Sena parishads. Hundreds of expatriate workers returning home every day. What future lies ahead for them ??
9. Barrister Maudud agreed to represent AL estranged GS Mr. Abdul Jalil in the case he filed against Dudak ! Din Bodol ??? May be , who knows !!!!
