What's new

Policeman martyred, dozens injured in Islamabad clashes; Army called

Didn't Messenger Peace be upon him asked his companions to be witness that He has successfully delivered and completed the Deen? What was the purpose for that?

Deen means system. In his last address to the people, Prophet peace be upon him said that he has delivered a complete Deen. You have made that address just an address of Khatm-ul-Quran.

Didn't Abu Bakar May ALLAH be pleased with him addressed Muslims right after Wisal of Muhammad Peace be upon him that

"O people, those of you who worshiped Muhammad Peace be upon, should know that he has died, and those of you who worship ALLAH, should know that ALLAH is immortal."

The verse you quoted clearly addresses the people of State that Muhammad Peace be upon him was heading, obviously any law that Muhammad Peace be upon him formulated in accordance with the needs of that time was to be fully obeyed by the people of that time ....... and again obviously Muhammad Peace be upon him didn't formulate laws based on his personal capability, he derived guidance from the divine message.

Where did you feel that I was trying to say that we should worship Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him?

Personal capacity of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was also given by Almighty Allah. As it comes in the holy Quran..

وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ

"Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination"

So whenever we talk about personal capacity, please don't make it "personal capacity of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him" vs "authority of Almighty Allah".

It isn't that after the departure of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him from this world, his Companions, the four Caliphs stopped quoting him, or changed the method of prayer, pilgrimage and Zakat than what was told by Prophet Muhammad peacepeace be upon him. There are hundreds of traditions in which it is mentioned that the Companions drew conclusions through the sayings of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

Okay ......... if you are so sure then why people keep saying this is Zaheef, that is Kazab etc etc?

Everything that is written and preserved was based on verbal narrations by people who weren't even present when that even may have occurred. This written and preserved material tells you that Ayesha May ALLAH be pleased with her was married as young as 9 years old, and entered the marriage contract when she was 6 years old playing with dolls.

Hadiths are preserved well that is the reason any fabricated Hadith is detected at once. No other text in the world is collected and preserved after so much scrutiny than the Hadiths.

Weak Hadith means that you can't make rules on the basis of that Hadith. Apart from that you are free to act upon it or not or base your belief on that Hadith or not.

What is your problem if Hazrat Ayesha may God be pleased with her was so young. Her father was alive, he had the authority. When she grew up she didn't object the marriage. You please see the services of Hazrat Ayesha may God be pleased with her, for Islam. She taught Islam to women and lived many years after the departure of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him from this world. You think this act of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him was without any wisdom?

There is no Deen outside the Quran ......... everything outside Quran is religion.

It was His (Peace be upon) him prime duty to deliver divine message in full. He established a state based on that divine guidance and which acted in accordance with the needs those times. In his personal capacity he was willing to be corrected and listened to others.

Do you know Hazrat Umer may ALLAH be pleased with him, ordered to cut down Shajr e Rizwan, being a Caliph.

That decision was solely based on circumstances of his time and what he felt was best for the people.

Pity that you understand the huge responsibility and role of ami Ayesha May ALLAH be pleased with her, but at the same time you don't think that a 9 year old child cannot fulfill that role and responsibility. Even when Quran has clearly told that don't hand over charge of orphan's matters in their hands unless they attain maturity.

Plus Quran clearly tells that a woman is not your property, she has the right to her decision but you expect Abu Bakar May ALLAH be pleased with him to act against clear guidance of Quran.

Plus marrying young girls wasn't an Arab tradition at all .........

In today's age of IT and development, still a 9 year old is not expected to run affairs of a corporate and you are telling me that in those times a 9 year old took the responsibility to educate Muslim women. Please take a look at following chart and see if your assumption makes any sense.

And if we know that some hadeeth are weak, some may be fake ....... then why don't we take those out of the books forever, why those hadeeth are still part of the books?

And if we know that some hadeeth are weak, some may be fake ....... then why don't we take those out of the books forever, why those hadeeth are still part of the books?

Let me summarize your points.

i. There should be no sects.

ii. Hadiths aren't trustworthy because they are written much later, based on here say.

iii. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him had duty to convey the message, he had no personal capacity or authority.

Here are the answers respectively.

i. Sects/schools of thought/difference of opinion is blessing for free thinking mind. Islam has accommodated this free thinking mind in its flexibility. Those who misuse this freedom are wrong, but denying this freedom altogether isn't right approach as well.

ii. Hadiths are mostly reported by multiple persons and trustworthy Companions and their children. If after so much care, Hadiths aren't to be accepted then no other history book is trustworthy and deserve to be thrown out of libraries and no history departments in universities.

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him would have said to write down his every saying but it wasn't a natural way to keep a historian all the time with him.

There's another angle; Hazrat Imam Hussain may God be pleased with him ordered the lights to be turned off so that people don't feel compelled and go away. It's unique family. They don't make people feel bound to follow them, people follow on their own.

iii. How can a person perform his duty without personal capacity? Again you are free to believe otherwise.

Incompetent police. They need like a higher security police force to handle high risk situations.
