The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said criticism of the US by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her ICT Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy will have no impact on the bilateral relations between the two countries.

"I don't think so ... because we held a very good meeting and discussed all issues that we had in our agenda," said MoFA spokesperson Seheli Sabrin at the weekly media briefing on Thursday while responding to a question.

She referred to the bilateral meeting between Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Washington on April 10.

Hours before the meeting, Sheikh Hasina bitterly criticised the US in Parliament saying that the country talks against corruption, but they’ve been advocating for convicted persons in graft charges.

“They want to bring such a government here, scrapping democracy, which would have no democratic existence -- (that means) undemocratic trend,” she said, adding that “some local (so-called) intellectuals who live on selling their intellects obey them.”
She said the US has been sheltering Bangabandhu’s convicted killer Rashed Chowdhury ignoring requests from Bangladesh on many occasions for deporting him.

On April 8, Prime Minister's ICT Affairs Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy criticised the expulsion of two African-American lawmakers of Tennessee, sparing another one, over their gun control protests, questioning the fairness of democracy in the United States.

"The US State legislature voted to expel two minority lawmakers, while keeping a third who was white. This is the state of democracy in the US. The US State Department is nothing but a bunch of hypocrites," Joy said in a Facebook post.

Hasina Bibi’ s son Joy Kumar seems to be more idiot than his mother. Both of them loves to compare oranges with apples.

But, is it possible that the US will now change its mind? Will the BAL party now contest election alone and win it like the last time with no contestants?

The US should reconsider her plea because too much of crying may cause to erase her ugly makeup and lose her eyesight.

If things happen that way, I am worried whatever may happen to the world we are living in?

Irreparable damage as Bangladesh PM thrashes regime change operations by the US of A.
Hasina is paranoid over the trial of the Pilkhana killings. She killed 57 BA officers.

She is more worried about the US reaction on the killing of Abhijit, a US citizen. She conspired to kill and blamed on the hardline Islamists. America now knows who was behind the killing of one of its citizens.

Yes, in fact Blinken personally thanked Momen for the "constructive criticism" and advised that the US House and Senate leaders were rushing to amend the US Constitution to incorporate Hasina and Joy's feedback.

If it is a simple regime change, America may ask a military leader to take the driving seat.

It is the fair election that the US is recommending.

I wish Imran Khan's criticism hadn't affected US-Pakistan relations either.

There should be a UN led investigation in how Bangladesh Army conducts her business.

Plunging Bangladesh into another cycle of brutal dictatorship is not of anyone's interest.
