PLAAF 9th Air Division received its first J-10.
According to this PLA Daily news announcement (here), the PLAAF 9th Air (Fighter) Division, Guangzhou Air Force, received its first batch of four J-10s on December 21st 2009

Back in October, there were speculations that the 5th J-10 line regiment is being form (here) and the PLA daily announcement and public release photos confirm it. This is the second upgrade the 9th has conducted during the last five years. In 2005, it's 24th Fighter Regiment at Guangzhou was upgraded to the J-7E and now the 25th Fighter Regiment is dropping the J-8IID heavy-fighter for the new J-10.

The 9th Air Division emblem is located at the upper-left-corner of this photo.

I don't know. Those military news from China are always outdated. They are so many secret project going on that look like science fiction to outsiders. China is modelling after the U.S in this area now. I wouldn't be surprised if the 5th gen fighter is ready for production.
