Video Pak China Naval exercises

The 21st Chinese navy escort fleet held a joint naval exercise with the Pakistani navy near Karachi of Pakistan on Monday, as it concluded its five-day friendship visit in Pakistan.

Under the commands from the Chinese navy's frigate "Liuzhou", the Chinese navy and the Pakistani navy finished the task of changing fleet formation at sea. They also finished other tasks, such as joint research and rescue, controlling suspicious ships, and cabin search after boarding on the vessel.

Besides, the shipboard helicopters from both sides underwent the takeoff-landing training.

Signalmen of both sides greeted to each other and carried on communication with international signals.

"The exercise this time is one of the important parts within the plan of our visit to Pakistan. It will be a great enhancement for both countries to react to threats at sea and to maintain the regional peace," said Yu Manjiang, the commander of the 21st Chinese navy escort fleet.

Great pic's however, PNS looks like might need a new paint job look at the front of the ship.
Your front end will need a little work, if you had sailed halfway around the world and back. Remember these ships are coming back after exercises in China. So hold your judgements and don't look for parade ground smartness.

Hmmm.thats why they are moving to Ormara to stay out from karachi polluted waters.which will increase ships life.

PN should try to acquire Chinese Type 52 & 56 Navy ships to strengthen PN.

My front end ? jerk how about your back end is it rusted ? show some class in how respond to someone. Second the fact of the matter is most ships are not being well taken care of . Half of family is from PN/ PNSC backround and showed this and other pic's to a family member and he told me that they are not be taken care of as they should lack of funds and plus dirty Karachi water.

actually dirty water cannot do much harm if the ship is taken care of properly, moreover the part of the hull requiring a paint job is not even in contact with the water. the ship is getting old, and the navy is not getting enough for regular maintenance.

"Since the Karachi coast has become a hub of commercial activity, making it difficult for the Navy to perform its tasks and the industrial waste in Karachi’s waters has been damaging the Navy’s assets and reducing the life of the ships, Ormara is a better option for future Naval operations."

Yet they have money to buy new cruisers and german saloons for the officers?
Or develop NHS schemes?

comparing a $200million ship to a few million Pakistani rupees. Nice!

With due respect our enemies facilitating much more than us to their Military. Even tech level persons of Navy get paid much higher in Arab countries after leaving Navy/PAF. Hope u get my point.

All ships have a standard maintenance routine, which is followed by the book.
These ships have been at sea and are on their return leg from China, rough seas give a pretty good beating to ships at sea.

Great pic's however, PNS Nasr looks like might need a new paint job look at the front of the ship.

the ship is nearly 30 year old, may be she is at the end of her life a paint job may not be sufficient
The older these ships get the cost of maintenance goes through the roof .....
