Interesting video brings you on board a PAC JF-17 during the air display at PAS 2015.
The JF-17 Thunder is a light, single-engine, multi-role combat aircraft jointly manufactured by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) of China.

The Pakistan Air Force plans to operate 160 JF-17 multirole jets about one-third of those are already in active service.

Three JF-17s are currently attending Paris Air Show in an effort to attract more customers: during the Air Show the first export order was confirmed and signed with an undisclosed Asian country (believed to be Myanmar).

Here is footage showing the Pakistan Air Force JF-17 performing aerobatic maneuvers during its display at PAS 2015.

Paris Air Show opens for the public today June 19-21.

TICKET- 14€/PERSON/DAY

JF-17s performance of this year was comparable to F-16s Boston Performance. I even felt ours was inspired by this demonstration.

A small commotion broke out at static display area of the JF-17 at Paris Airshow when Chinese officials refused to allow a Taiwanese TV crew to view the fighter close up even though they were escorted by a Pakistan Air Force officer

It can be assumed Taiwan would not be allowed to purchase the JF-17 too.

Just got this tweet from a contact.

@Oscar @Najam Khan Any idea what different patches mean on left arm ?

Impressive. It would given any MiG-23 a run for its money. Flying straight and making huge turns, wow, F-106s and MiG-23s finally have their rival!

@Emily those were quite the statements you made, just remember that PAF operates the F-16's and the JFT's have been reported to have "regularly beat" the F-16 Block 15's (the most maneuverable in the F-16 series) and the recent news with SU-27's of the PLAAF being regularly beaten by the Thunders especially in BVR engagements --
Do you think in a closed autocratic organization like the PAF with no civilian oversight and balance, any pilot who loves his career ccan even utter a single negative word of a plane which is about to form the basis for the airforce in the long term future?

And the takeoff, load a MiG-21 with just 500kgs of fuel for a 5 min airshow routine, even it can have its Thrust to Weight more than one. Thrust to weight ratio is a variable entity and by calculation, Thunder with 1700Kgs of fuel with no weapons will have a Thrust to weight ratio more than 1.

Looks like Sri Lankan pilots too are afraid of PAF chief who happily bowed to this 30 years old tech. On a friendly note, you can try to be neutral a bit more as your purposeful degrading is too obvious.
