Pakistan's economy better than India's: Bloomberg

Wow..even Bloomberg knows the knack now. Whenever you want to talk about either of the two countries, just compare one with the other. Baam...you got yourself much needed TRP & aftershocks. A routine news item suddenly becomes exclusive & topic of discussion widely.

Morgan Stanley is one of the largest investment banks in the world.

Don't know whether I should laugh or cry at your description of that firm.

Credit for this goes to Nawaz and what his government has done over the past three years. We all know that this isn't zardaris doing in any shape or form.
I know them ..One Indian is managing director there....they say lots of good things about India also..I never take them seriously...

Hummmm!!!!!

Money will come from US, CHina, Saudi etc. Can't you guys do anything on your own?

Pakistani Economist's Response on Pakistan take over indian Economy

ha ha nice joke.....enjoy your illusion...
Its you who is living in illusion of incredible India lol

India is at no 125 in list of GDP per capita(2014) : $5,855
Pakistan is at no 134 in list of GDP per capita(2014)=$4736

Its interesting to see that only top 10 richest Indians have £111 billion dollars net worth but same India is home to the largest number of poor with one-third of the world's 1.2 billion extreme poor living here. It also had the highest number of under-five deaths in the world in 2012, with 1.4 million children dying before reaching their fifth birthday, according to the UN Millennium Development Goals report 2014.

India is home to world’s 1/3rd of extreme poor population: UN study - The Times of India

Now human development index measured based on these three things

1. Longevity. Measured by the life expectancy of population.

2. Knowledge. Measured by the mean age of schooling and gross enrolment ratio.

3.Standard of living. Measured by our GNI per capita.

Position of India in human development index(2014) : 135 (out of 187 countries)
Position of Pakistan in human development (2014): 145 (out of 187 countries)

so gap is not that much which cannot be reached especially if we consider the worse situation and political instability in Pakistan since this war on teror

A lot more work to be done.
Yes we might be better than India at poverty alleviation and infrastructure build up, but still, we need heavy industries. Construction is a cheap boom mostly for those seeking to make their black earnings white. Sooner than later it will burst whether Pakistan, India or China.
We need energy and security. We need value added exports. Hopefully, our IT industry will expand very rapidly in the next decade and finally we can export something other than Towels, mangoes and footballs.

No, your country no where near to india's infrastructure build up and you can see several pages to find out where india stands now !

Dunya News, enough said.

This is what the article says:

"Pakistan is a reform story like neighboring India’s, but only better, said Renaissance’s Robertson."

That means its reform story is better, not the economy.

And you cant say its reforms are better than that of India.
