The definition of super-power that you gave is simple wrong....US is a super-power and we all know about it...Now can they do a similar operation in Russia???? The answer is no, so does that mean they are not a super-power????

India is no way a super-power(we are miles behind), however we have done a similar(note not SAME but SIMILAR) operation in Sri-Lanka when we send our choppers in broad day light to send relief to Tamils out there....

Moral of the story - It depends against whom you are conducting the operation. Pakistan is dependent on US and they are milking you...the same way you are milking them using co-operation in WOT as bait....India and Pakistan has no sush connection...A similar operation in North Korea would be castrotrophic, however more such operations cannot be ruled out in Pakistan even now...

It's got nothing to do with ally. It's because of the relative disparity in military power.

Like I wrote earlier, India can do a US-like operation in Nepal or Bhutan, perhaps even Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, but not in Pakistan.

Buddy let's get it straight...WE DON'T HAVE THE CAPABILITY....as said in previous post all we know is about 3-4 choppers but do we know what else was there to ensure Seals return safe??? What do you have in your arsenal that can ensure a safe return of let's say MARCOS entering in Pak Air-Space should they get detected????

It has already happened. The U.S has delivered yet another missile in a suspected drone attack, 12 killed. Let, us see if there is any noise in Chinese foreign office about this drone attack. Let alone a reprisal attack in defense of its favorite ally Pakistan.

Why US doesn't go to war against NK - because that is amad nation with nukes with nothing to loose. Same with Pakistan - an almost failed state with nothing to loose.

Cost benefit analysis says it is not worthwhile to go to war with a nation that is on a self-destruct mode itself.
