What @ares said was spot on! The UN resolutions mandated the withdrawal of all Pakistani forces and tribals sent by Pakistan, from Kashmir including GB before a plebiscite is held.

It was a game how to get as many princely states, religion hardly came in between when Pakistan was thinking of getting them. Pakistan had another plans to stop as many princely states to join India as strong India wasn't in their interest. But in the last Pakistan got none of the Hindu majority princely states, couldn't stop any princely state to join India and also lost Kashmir, with them they brought religion logic how they should have got Kashmir because of its Muslim majority.

Good move by Pakistan... I consider such statements as pressure tactics though. But raising Kashmir issue at all global events would help Pakistan and its in the interest of people of Kashmir too.

Oh we agree to referendum and the un resolution but the very first condition in it is that tribals and regular/irregular forces of pakistan move out and Indian army places minimal forces in the state to maintain law and order and then hold referendum alongside un

Friend, I think you need to read some history. Here's a map of pre-partition India. GB was very much part of the princely state of J&K..

Then there was a massacre of Hindus going on in Hyderabad under full Pakistani patronage and weapon support(as reported by Times Magazine in 1948) to stop them from acceding to India. So, its a big joke that Pakistan talks of rights on Kashmir on the basis of religion when they themselves never followed that rule.

Secondly, it's not the Indian security forces but ISI's pet poodles led by 'General' Hafiz Saeed and his yahoos who are indulging in terrorism in Kashmir.
