Pakistan prisoner allegedly tortured to death in Kashmir jail buried
According to Dawn News, Muhammad Ashraf, 55, was languishing in a jail in Jammu and Kashmir for the past several years over the charges of crossing into Indian territory without valid documents.

A Pakistani prisoner allegedly tortured to death in a Jammu and Kashmir jail was on Sunday buried at his native village, a media report said.
According to Dawn News, Muhammad Ashraf, 55, was languishing in a jail in Jammu and Kashmir for the past several years over the charges of crossing into Indian territory without valid travel documents.
He was buried at his native Kot Kalaal village of Pasrur tehsil on Sunday, it said, alleging that he was tortured to death by Indian jail authorities.
Border Security Force (BSF) had handed over Ashraf’s body to the Punjab Rangers at Wagah for burial.
