The radar controlled guns are not original Orliekon 35mm guns, rather the Chinese Type 90 ones which as per XYON were ordered in a US$ 35.0M deal under Adm Noman Bashir tenure.

What is the exact difference between the Chinese type 90 and the original Oerlikon 35 mm??

One thing that I do know is that the Chinese type 90 is GDF-002, while the original ones PA uses are GDF-005 and GDF-007 (AHEAD modified).

Any other reason for going with the Chinese guns? Cost or something?

are these type 90 guns as effective as the Oerlikon?
and do they have anything similar to AHEAD rounds system?

PA has close to 200 GDF-002 and some modern GDF-005 units, which may have been modified to fire AHEAD rounds.

Chinese Type 90 may be based on the GDF-002 design, but as per Chinese sources, it may have capabilities of what the GDF-005, that is 3D tracking & laser range finder systems etc.

Do remember, Chinese bought some GDF-002 systems in 1980s and they inducted the system in late 1990s, and today its 2012, Type-90 is not what GDF-002 was, we all know Chinese have a habit of improving systems which they copy.

Here see Chinese Mobile Type-90 system with muzzle velocity measuring devices, which are used in AHEAD technology, and many new Chinese AA systems are coming with such muzzle velocity measuring devices, suggesting that China has obtained this technology.

Now its to be seen if the PN systems had such devices on the barrel end, if they had, it means they have gotten the AHEAD tech, if not, that means these are simple AA guns.

Yeah they are as good as it gets, if not equal to original Orliekons, they would be very very near to them. Chinese army is now revolving around the 35mm gun concept and all their newer towed & armor based AA systems are 35mm caliber.

Here see the newly introduced armor platform system with muzzle velocity devices:

For 35.0M how many of this AA Guns Pakistan did get ?

10 pairs, meaning 20 guns with 10 radars.

2 gun systems plus one fire control radar make one battery.

Thus 10 battery strength.

which area or surface can 10 batterrys coverage ? for example 50Km2 ? or more ?

GDF-005 with or without AHEAD system
Range 4.0 km vs aircraft

Type - 90
Range 3.2 km vs aircraft, 4 km vs ground targets

Oerlikon 35mm Ammo Production in Pakistan:

Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Pakistan’s premier Defence Industrial Establishment has concluded a joint venture with a European giant for high technology weapons system in april 2009. Chairman POF Board Lieutenant General Syed Sabahat Husain from POF and Peter Weilenmann President from Oerlikon (Waffer Rheinmetall Munition) of Switzerland signed a letter of understanding on the 2nd day of the defence exhibition IDEF-2009 being held at Istanbul Turkey for co-production & co-marketing of 35mm Air Defence Ammo at POF.

The AA Guns, these one we are talking about that are with PN Marines Battalion were produced at HMC Taxila.
By the way things turned out during the course of this production order, we may well see more coming out soon, as point defense system!

are you sure that Pakistan is producing GDF 35mm AA Guns and not the Type 65/74 Twin-37mm Towed Anti-Aircraft Artillery (upgraded Versions were shown on Pakistan Ideas 2008) ?
