Pakistan hints at retaliation after US withheld funds "negotiate access to air/land corridors"

50 million isn't much. Pakistan donated 500 million to Afghanistan for development.

The US is a country that PAYS the Taliban money so their convoy trucks will not be targeted and protected LMAO. And they tell us "do more" **** off.

Instead of all this begging and pleading, Pakistan should simply comply with their promise honestly and stop supporting terrorism. Once they do that, we can see more aid flow.

The aid is barely few hundred million dollars. Pakistan itself offered $500 Million aid to Afghanistan and spent another $500 million on Infrastructure projects in Afghanistan. Pakistan is a $304 Billion economy, this aid isn't needed. US gives aid to many countries to maintain leverage , including Israel and India. India has been the highest recipient of US aid in 70 years.

The last time Pakistan "negotiated" was because of the unfortunate border posts attack.

Pakistan closed the border, demanded an apology, and wanted more money to handle the shipping.

Pakistan got 0/3.

Pakistan's ambassador is talking out of his a$$, and the American politicians and bureaucrats will hand him a trashcan and let him go back to his job posing for photo-ops.

They are threatening to block the air corrridors this time. Just think about it. They were not fools to grant free access to air passage so far. There was a capability gap.

@WebMaster @Horus @WAJsal @waz @HRK @Irfan Baloch

Kindly shut this troll in his cage and also tell him instead of poking his dirty nose into other's business, pull his 7 lakh indian occupier terrorists scum roaches swines out of IOK.

Obviously nothing is free in this world. If US wanna use Pakistani highways which get destroyed due to heavy convoys of US and NATO military stuff, then it has to pay. Same goes for airways, all passenger jets are allowed but why would Pakistan pollute and populate it's airways with dangerous military stuff, for free?

We'll see man. Times have changed since then in case you didn't get the memo.
Let the 'Muricans bring it on. They are the ones talking about a stick. Now show us how tough you really are and how much you can hurt us with that stick. You think we afraid of the Yankee stick?
You talk about sanctions. Stop talking and impose them. What else can you do? Carry out drone strikes or raids across the border? Stop talking and show us what you are made out of. Just do it because your talk is as always cheap.
It is your daddy 'Murica doing all the talking here. The onus is on the rednecks to prove to us whether they are true to their word. Don't blame the ambassador who is merely replying to the usual cowboy rhetoric.

Oh yeah times have changed, this time Pakistani Soldiers weren't actually killed by US/NATO forces. If Pakistan couldn't get anything last time... This time yeah, a respectable COAS, more infighting in politics with the same sellouts as last time.

And a much more compliant American Administration that will bend over backwards for Pakistan.

A smart Pakistani government would let something go in return for perhaps... lowered tariffs to exported goods, increased cooperation in energy, educational opportunities for students, debt relief. But that would actually require a competent Pakistani government.

oh yeah of course, the PAF didn't have enough electricity to keep their radars on.

good option but now let's see if these are just empty threats or they can do it.
if they do it than US will never stop the funding again.

if they do it than US will never stop the funding again and never undermine our contribution.

Nothing has changed. You got same old military leadership. Even if US forces repeat an attack like Salala, there would be same old policy of no answer, and let the boys be roasted under US fire.
They once said, Pakistanis are ready to sell their mothers against dollars, and still US can find abundance of such kind in Pakistani military and political leadership

That remains to be seen. You could be right or wrong. The 'Muricans are on the right path to do something stupid again. Their rhetoric has increased. Let's wait and see what happens and how our army responds.

'Murica should mind its own business. Their crying and blame games don't mean anything.

We are not interested in 'Murican bribes in any shape or form.

As for Pakistan, we have already made a firm decision. We don't belong in the 'Murican camp.

I was wondering when Pakistan was going to use its leverage over US. Perhaps it's sooner rather than later. Trump has yet to formulate a policy for Afghanistan and what part Pakistan will play in it. So far everybody is in a holding pattern.

there might not have been any free transit..

pak army might have had kickbacks from usa back. channel..

seems logical.. because. if. pak is charging land transit it should also. charge air transit..
. means behind the scene some one got the dollars..

Bribes do work, whether in the case of trade or funneling money to a swiss/ habib bank account. How do you think International Relations work?

'Murican bribing is a thing of the past now. We will see in the coming months where Pakistan stands on all these issues. Either we are going to go the same path as we did in the previous years or there will be change. I have faith that 'Murica policy in Pakistan has changed. We will find out soon enough.

Don't worry about that..with 532 US :pleasantry: unfortunate soldiers after November 2011, Salala is paid in full with huge interest.By the way recent news..we are sorry for your :pleasantry: unfortunate loss..
2 U.S. Soldiers Killed in Suicide Attack in Afghanistan
Hint is enough for a wise person.
